Highgate Royal Lahaina Resort And Bungalows

Maui Trip This was my first time staying here. The check in process was smooth, and Crystal at the front desk was amazing. She upgraded our rooms and was easy to communicate with. We loved the view from our rooms. The rooms were well kept, however, there was a dewy smell in our room, the bathroom was a bit dark and dirty (tad bit), and the body wash was missing. Also, wish the resort would provide the chairs and umbrellas for the beach rather than renting it. The food at the restaurant was good and everyone was nice and helpful. All in all, a good stay.

The Gem of West Maui This hotel is such a Gem! It was chill and not overly crowded. The grounds are beautiful and the views are phenominal. We are so grateful to all of the staff memebers, everyone we encounterd was pleasant and helpful. We stayed in a bungalow and it was great to get a little walking in to really see the grounds. We visited other hotels during our stay for drinks and/or lunch and we think this hotel has the best beach. The waves aren't theartening but you still get a little action. We didn't go during whale season but this would be the place to stay for the whale views.The view of the sunset is gorgoues from the beach, pools and resturant. If you want to avoid a super touristy vibe (like the Whalers Village hellscape) this is a great hotel for you but keep the vibe classy and chill.

Royal Lahaina, Mr. Ford & company are the absolute best Wonderful experience everything from the room to breakfast to pools and beach this place is beyond phenomenal. Don’t get me started on staff, first & foremost Mr. Ford is exceptional in his service and attitude. Place really feels like home away from home and more so staff treats you like their very own.

Awesome and grateful Everyone here was so friendly. Stacey greeted us and could not have been more lovely. She was friendly, authentic and personable. We really liked that this hotel has done so much to help fire victims. We loved that the local YMCA kids came here to swim and shout out to the YMCA instructors. They were awesome. We very much enjoyed our time here

A Gem in Paradise We had the most AMAZING stay last week at Royal Lahaina!! Karen, Kim, Yvette, Rosie, Mariz, Maris, Elvie, Jacob, Reyel and many others went above and beyond to ensure we had a fabulous stay! They treated us like family!! Their kindness, attention to detail and professionalism were top notch! Our vacation would not have been the same without their beautiful smiling faces each day!! An absolute gem of a resort!! Immaculate grounds, new furnishings and updated spaces throughout! Even better in person!!! The Royal Ocean Terrace Restaurant was a total godsend!! We dined here once or twice (and sometimes three times) a day!! Each time we visited, the food and service were fabulous!! Great views, amazing food and wonderful staff!! Loved the live music too!!! The Beach!!! Soft sugar sand, perfect tranquil water, no rocks or obstructions, peaceful, and gorgeous!! Best beach experience we have had in Maui! Our ocean front, King, corner room in the tower had 180 degree views!! Absolutely breathtaking!! Comfy beds, spacious room, and retracting sliding glass doors for the perfect tropical cross breezes! The Royal Scoop!! Best ice cream I've had in years!!! The Alana Spa!! Karen made our experience before, during and after our visit to the spa, over the top AMAZING!! Her kindness, expertise, and professionalism are First Class!! My husband and I booked 60 min beachfront couples massages!! Oh MY!! Our masseuses were phenomenal!! The tranquil sounds of the ocean, along with one of the best massages I've received, made for the a major highlight of our trip!! We were loving our stay so much, that we extended another day!! We were there for nine days and eight nights! We cannot thank everyone at the Royal Lahaina enough for the perfect week in paradise!!
