GOLDEN PLOUGH INN AT PEDDLERS

I didn’t want to leave this morning. “You know there won’t be any other places on our whole trip as nice as this one!” I really didn’t want to leave, for real. It’s the whole experience of having everything exactly right that makes this place so special to us. We have stayed here two times previously, in different seasons and this was our first time here in summer. Each season is a different experience, all have been lovely. Peddlers Village is such a delight, totally within walking distance and so beautifully landscaped. We enjoyed just meandering around and seeing the happy families and couples - laughing, eating, and shopping. There aren’t many places we can go and be absolutely sure that it will be relaxing and satisfying in every way, but the Golden Plough Inn nails it every time.

BED BUGS BED BUGS ,BED BUGS , BED BUGS room 112 need to say anything else? Very rude manger who could have cared less . They changed sheets said that is all they could so we left 2 hours after we checked in and they charged us 99.0$ saying that was only fair .I would tell everyone to stay away

First time here Centrally located in Peddlers Village but a bit of a drive to New Hope and Lambertville. Rooms are a bit dated with wallpaper needing replacement in areas. We stayed in the main building and initially had some issues with the air conditioning. The owner or maybe he was the manager came up and adjusted it immediately. He assured us that if we had any issues later in the afternoon to stop by the front desk. He was a man of his word. Word cooled off beautifully. Breakfast was included in deal. Rooms had turn down service, chocolate and bottles of water. All in all a good stay

Golden Plough June 2024 The hotel is located on a corner, in the middle of Lahaska, so it is very accessible. We attended a wedding in nearby New Hope, so it was convenient for us. The hotel was clean, and well kept, although I don't think the filters in the AC unit in the room had been replaced for a long, long time. Speaking of AC, we stayed in a suite, and the AC could not keep the penthouse suite cool, regardless of how low we set the thermostat. We were suffering with 90 plus degree weather, so I realize that is a factor, but I think the unit needs repair. Speaking of the second story suite, we would never have booked it had we known that there was no elevator. Both my wife and I are disabled, and hauling our luggage up and down the stairs was very difficult. The only other complaint I have, and it is quite common with older hotels - please select sink countertops in bathrooms large enough to hold a traveler's bath kit. When two people are sharing a room, they like to lay out their toiletries on the counter in the bathroom. If not on the counter, then in drawers below. Both bathrooms in our suite were free standing without drawers and very limited space.

Very Good This is a nice place to stay for the weekend. Please note that if you are handicapped or, can not do many stairs make sure you request the building with an elevator. The service at the front desk was professional and friendly. The room was clean.
