Lakefront Terrace Resort

DISAPPOINTED AND DISSATISFIED This is a reply to a previous review written earlier in September 2024, as far as the discount that was offered on line, our stay was beyond the number of days required. The front desk staff SHOULD BE FULLY AWARE OF ALL SPECIAL DISCOUNTS BEING OFFERED, unless this was deliberately done to have your "GUESTS" pay more $ "Pasta Night" was advertised for Wednesday/Saturday. We thought ourselves lucky as we had arrived early afternoon on Wednesday. We spoke to the hostess and was informed it started at 6pm, we returned at 6:30pm then was told it was NOT being held but sign advertising was still on display, We were EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED as we decided not to eat elsewhere and dine at your "resort" This sign should have been taken down or corrected to show that "PASTA NIGHT" would only be available on Saturdays due to lack of staffing. Room (Maid) Service, or the lack of, we spoke with the front desk manager and still this was "NOT DONE" after making multiple requests to have it "DONE". As far as messages from the front desk, we were informed after complaints of " NO ROOM SERVICE BEING DONE" that we could have "SIGNED UP" to receive text messages and replied to have this service done. Apologies are definitely in order for the inconveniences endured, but still nothing offered by your "RESORT" for said inconveniences. YOUR "resort" IS NOT THE ONLY ESTABLISHMENT THAT OFFERS A LAKE FRONT VIEW! As I had mentioned in my previous review, my wife and I have been vacationing in Lake George for decades, first as campers (back when we were young) now as SENIOR CITIZENS. We expected that now that we gave up camping, staying at a resort would be a luxury experience. This was an extreme disappointment and we were very dissatisfied.

Family Weekend Getaway Our family did an impromptu weekend end at Lakefont Terrace Resort! The view is breathtaking. We stayed on the yard where access to the lake, picnic tables, Adirondack chairs made for many hours of fun and relaxation! Most of us didn't leave the resort. Saturday evening my sons who are avid cornhole players mentioned that to one of their employees. He said he wasn't sure if they had them. He left on his golfcart and returned in under 10 minutes with a set! Not only that it was turning dark and another employee came to replace a burned out lightbulb in a post then provided two battery operated latterns for each hole in the boards! When it comes to going beyond normal customer service, they provided GREAT Customer Service! We will be returning. Thank you to all the Staff!

Gross, keep looking This is not a resort. It is dirty, no costumer service, see pictures. I would not stay here even it was the only option. The room was very unsanitary, the “deck” was dirty and flooded with water, the lights outside did not work, the bedding had Little black debris all over it so I can swear where bugs. The “manager” Stephanie was miserable to deal with and had very poor management skills.

Worth the price Depending on what you expect . Clean rooms , need some updating, but if on vacation here not going to be in room much , more than to sleep anyway. Nice lake view. We were upgraded to lake view . Any negative was parking is a bit limited. A bit off the downtown area but very walkable to the attractions. Overall worth the price.

Unexpected but peaceful and relaxing....Loved it This is the, "cozy by the lake vacation feel" your looking for. With great rooms... Cleanliness to a T, Comfortable roomy Beds, a Nice pool. It has an absolute perfect location on the edge of the village. A beautiful view of the Lake. And most of all the friendliest owners and staff you will ever meet. Who go out of their way to make sure you are taken care of... Base your stay off this review and you will be satisfied 100% and more.
