Accommodating to hockey families In a clean, comfortable, convenient, and beautiful place. Hockey tournament in December - hotel is walking distance to rinks. Clean and comfortable. Staff friendly. Garage parking. Restaurant is good. Spotlessly clean. And fresh smelling throughout. Wonderful bedding - we actually ordered a pillow we liked it so much. Beautiful older construction with amazingly decorated lobby. They had a holiday scavenger hunt for the kids. The pool and hot tub area were clean and warm. We had an amazing view of the lake and a suite with a fireplace. Will stay here next time we are in Lake placid.

Lovely getaway Golden Arrow never fails to impress us. Our 3rd time coming here...we're treated like family. Looking forward to many more years of visits. Everyone greets with a smile. Shout out to Vinny for all the hard work he puts into keeping the hotel running smooth and looking good!

Honest review Great location in lake placid. Middle of all bars and restaurants and easy parking. Our room (two double bed lake view) had the most amazing view over mirror lake. The restaurant was good, decent bar. Only minor complaint was cobwebs on windows leading to balcony and bathroom had a couple hairs in shower/bath. Would definitely stay here again, even just to sit with a coffee looking over the lake

Family Owned and Loved The building is beautiful, the prices are very reasonable for how nice the hotel is, the staff and management are all family and the business is locally owned. It's obvious the love that the family has poured into this wonderful place. It really feels like a cliche home away from home.

Beautiful views! We have stayed at the Golden Arrow before, but it has been many years. We came up for an event, but decided to make a little mini vacation out of it and booked two nights here. The pros definitely outweigh the cons. The room was clean and comfortable. I love the recycling efforts very much. They included some K cups and a little Keurig, which was great for our first morning when we needed coffee right away. Our view was excellent. The layout of this hotel is very unusual and we loved it. My son took charge and figured things out quickly and then directed us where to go. _. We tried to eat at the Generations restaurant, but the first night they had a Private booking so we went somewhere else- and the next morning for breakfast they had a full buffet for $25 a person, but we weren’t hungry enough to go with that. But the menu did look good and we would’ve eaten there if it had worked out. Now for the cons, I have almost nothing except that in the wall next to my husband, it must’ve been every time someone flushed or showered…It sounded like a waterfall in there. It startled us the first few times. The only other thing was kind of a weird sound in the wall behind the bed, not sure if it was somebody’s TV. So it wasn’t super quiet or insulated- but otherwise all good and the beds were very comfortable!
