Perfect Lake San Marcos Lodging Wonderful, comfortable, and clean lodging- it was perfect for our family and our activities. Our room had a view of the lake on the first floor and we could sit in the back and watch the birds, boats, and people go by. A very relaxing experience.

Couldn't Have Asked for More. It was an unexpected experience with everything catered toward the guest. The hotel staff were wonderful and accommodating. The place was clean, quiet, loved the lake view. Upstairs is the better view if you can get it. We also went by the fire and made smores. It was fun. Great place for winter. Great breakfast at their local restaurant and wonderful local coffee at the on-site location.

Great location This was the second time we stayed here. It seemed a little run down (furniture dented, carpet peeling etc.) It is a great location though and they do have unique perks like s’mores kits and basket of ball’s for the range. It was also Christmas time so they had a winter wonderland area which was neat.

Perfect experience for special occasions I stayed here the night before my wedding and my husband and I both stayed the night of our wedding. Such a wonderfully curated experience, we have already been recommending this resort hotel to others. Room (cottage) was spacious, and views seemed to be great from almost anywhere on site. Front desk check in was quick, easy, and staff were friendly. Good parking on site as well.

The Ideal Getaway! Lakehouse Resort is an ideal place for a recreational and relaxing getaway for couples and friends. Not only ore there many options for fun right on the property, but the ocean is nearby in one direction and the San Diego SafariPark in the other, not to mention trails, shops, theaters, and more!
