Extremely Dissatisfied Being a Hilton Honors member Management refused to waive the cancellation fee. I had a trip cancellation and had to rebook at a different location. Our company has been a loyal member for a long time and I am very disappointed that neither management at this location nor Hilton headquarters could find a solution. Extremely dissatisfied.

Good choice for Lakeland I stayed at the Hampton Inn, Lakeland in March 2024 for one night to hang out with my friends when we attended the Detroit Tigers spring training game. What are my friends lives in Lakeland and the other lives in Orlando and I live in Fort Lauderdale and the hotel room was our base. The property is nice and well-maintained and the staff is very nice and helpful. The guy at the front desk(whose name I do not remember) was extremely nice and helpful. The location is also very nice because it is located in the Lakeside area which has plenty of restaurants and bars and shops. so there is some nightlife and things to do and walk around and see within a very short distance of the hotel. So for whatever reason that you came to Lakeland, if you get a little bit bored, you can go out and stretch your legs. The breakfast was free and very decent. They had bagels and croissants and breads and a premade egg dish. You can also make your own pancakes and they had cereals and a few other things in a very clean breakfast area.. Given the time of the year in Florida the cost of my room was a little bit pricey. I generally don’t feel great about spending $300 (including taxes, and fees) for one night at Hampton Inn. However, that was the market because I did shop around and if I wanted to stay in a good area that was where I needed to be and that’s the cost. I could’ve spent less somewhere else and taking an Uber to the same area where the hotel was, but I made the decision and staying at a place that was pretty good, with a very good staff at a time when the tigers were in town. On a humid and hot Florida day in August I’m pretty sure that the room is much cheaper because no one is around. But having settled that I have no regrets. So overall, I recommend the hotel. I’m pretty sure I’ll do this again with my friends in the future and I’ll seek to stay at this hotel the next time that we do this.

THANK YOU TIFFANY SANCHEZ Tiffany Sanchez with the front desk went above and beyond to help me with my reservations when a third-party site that I accidently booked through was being extremely rude and unwilling to make modifications. Tiffany's positive and helpful attitude was a breath of fresh air after having to deal with the other company. She even offered to call the third-party site herself if they continued to give me a hard time. We will always choose this hotel when doing business in the area for it's wonderful customer support.

Okay place Beds were comfortable, room was huge. The breakfast was okay, the oatmeal was watery, there were no whole grain offerings but oatmeal. The only healthy option was oatmeal and one day they had chicken sausage.

Great Stay From check-in to check-out, Matt and Ryan at the front desk were gracious and accommodating to our large group's needs. The hotel overall and the rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, towels were fluffy. Walkability score was fantastic - did not have to get in the car until it was time to check-out. Great hotel in a great area!
