Comfortable and Clean room My room and bathroom were spotless smelled and looked very clean. I have stayed here many times and never felt so good to come in and feel as comfortable as I have on this stay. I felt it highly important to recognize my housekeeper Mariyah. Thank you Mariyah

Acceptable but cheaply managed. Pros: - comfy bed, quiet room - better than average breakfast - ample parking and many doors to hotel - good fitness room - complete dumbbell set, working cardio machines Cons: - Small luggage carriers - Only one coffee capsule in room - Only one luggage rack in room

This was an extremely poor decision A couple of years ago my husband and I stayed at the Lancaster Holiday Inn Express because all the hotels in Palmdale and Lancaster were full of firefighters due to the California fires that year. We were extremely disappointed! This place was very dated. It hasn’t changed! Like most old buildings it has a musty smell, the hallways and rooms are dark. The grout in the bathrooms are disgusting. The wallpaper is peeling from the walls in the bathroom as well. There are two remotes for one tv. One to turn it on and the other to change the channel. The DIRECTV remote had to be taped up because the battery cover was broken and they didn’t have any additional remotes. There are just standard outlets available, adapters had to be used to charge our phones. I needed an iron and ironing board and neither one worked well. The maintenance man must have made at least three trips to our room because various things didn’t work. The rooms and bathrooms are a nice size and the air conditioner works well. The breakfast options were very limited. It appeared that some items were left over from the day before( boiled eggs for example). The only milk option available was cows milk. Cold cereal was the only cereal available and the breakfast sausages (patties and links) were extremely overcooked as well as the boiled eggs, omelettes and frittatas. Decaffeinated coffee was not available but there was hot water and a couple of tea options. The neighborhood is depressed and gives you reason to worry about your car. There are not a lot of food options in this area besides IHOP and Dennys. I have given this place my business twice, they will not get a third. Holiday Inn Palmdale is worth your money and it’s only a few freeway exits away and are close to various places to eat and shopping. This place charges too much and you get very, very little for your money.
