Had a nice time but not perfect We recently stayed at Planet Hollywood and overall had a nice time — I’d give it 3 stars. The location is fantastic, with easy access to the Strip, shops, and good shows onsite. The pools were nice too, though the family pool was shaded over half the day, which was a bit disappointing. Housekeeping was definitely below expectations — floors were dirty, fixtures were broken, and when housekeeping did come, they barely cleaned. One bed was made, towels were replaced, but that was about it. Honestly not sure what the resort fee covered. Pool seating was another frustration: no chairs available unless you paid for a daybed, and even then, pricing was inconsistent. Service at the pool was hit or miss — one day we were charged $20 for a virgin margarita, another day $9. Some days we got water and towels, other days nothing at all. Lastly, prepare for some price gouging — even at the onsite Starbucks, a tall latte was $11. Overall, we had a good time because of the location and entertainment, but the hotel itself fell short in service and cleanliness for the price.

Weekend from hell We have been to Las Vegas many times and thought we would try some place different. From the time we checked in to our first visit to the pool, we knew we made a mistake. The place has rude staff and they are always looking to up charge you for everything!!! This turned out to be a very low end hotel and with so many other choices don’t waste your time!!

Vegas - It's Expensive The resort and rooms are clean and housekeeping provides good service. The rooms do not have a coffee maker like most resorts, you have to go down to the lobby just to get a coffee which is brutally expensive, $18.57 CAN for a Venti at Starbucks. Everything in the resort is expensive, Gordon Ramsay was $196.91 CAN for 1 appetizer shared and 2 burger meals with fries. Cheaper food options can be found just down the street, for example In and Out, great burgers, 2 meals $41.43 CAN. Sonic which is not far, $49.67 for 2 meals and dessert. The resort provides great transportation service through taxis. The staff in the casino are not friendly at all but I did not spend much time there after I won a jackpot of 1,300.00 as I was quite annoyed that they keep 30% of any winnings because I am Canadian. The shows are expensive too but definitely great shows! Great talent in Vegas! The helicopter and Eiffel Tower are great attractions and most reasonably price. Great views of Vegas at night, got some stunning videos and pictures.

Misses the mark I stayed at Planet Hollywood for three nights in January 2025 while in Las Vegas for work. The room was basic and sufficient, the bed was comfortable enough. Standard room was just fine size-wise, as was the bathroom. However, the bathtub was filthy so I did not use it, there was no in-room coffee maker and there was ZERO in-house room service. Staying on business, it was an inconvenience to have to go search out coffee or a quick breakfast in the mornings prior to attending/presenting at my conference. One night, an alarm went off at 10 p.m. and blared for 20 minutes. I would not recommend this hotel, unfortunately.

WOW Las Vegas We left the UK on a cold February morning and we was looking forward to a 7 night break to fabulous Las Vegas, almost 11 hours later we touched down at McCarron Intl Airport and we had a smooth transition through US customs, once outside the airport we got a taxi ($23, which is a fixed price)to Planet Hollywood which is located on The Strip, the weather was between 19 to 23 degrees the week we were there. The location of this hotel is a good base to go a visit other hotels/casinos, the Bellagio with its fantastic water fountain display is across the road with Caesars Palace next to it, the Paris Hotel with a replica Eiffel Tower is next door, with the Luxor (pyramid shape hotel and casino a five minute walk away) plus many more, each with a shopping centre that will amaze you, the best being “The Venetian” which is a 15 minute walk from Planet Hollywood.
