Going to miss the Riviera. I thought when we visited in January, that we would probably start staying at the Riviera from now on when we returned to Vegas. Alas, that is not to be, as the grounds are now going to be home to the new Las Vegas Convention / Visitor Center. I would like to thank all personnel we came into contact with, as they were great. from the check in to the check out. room was very clean. we had no complaints. thank you riviera for many years of good times. good rates.

So long, Farewell ............. Really gonna miss thsi place. Never styaed there myslf, but always whenever up the north end of strip popped in for a walk round, saw a couple of shows there in past. Used to love looking at it at nighttime when all lit up. And replaced with .......................a convention centre - Wow ! (not) A convention center on the strip ? whats all that about ? At least if you are going to demolish a legendary resort like the Riv, replaceplace it with something good in its place. Went in there back in Feb when last out in Vegas, heard about its closing couple of weeks after getting home, wish i had got some final photo's of it with me in pictures and some souvenirs from resort now.

Don't stay there!!!!!! Roach in our bathroom Honestly, this place is disgusting. There are hidden resort fees every night that makes it not even worth staying there. Your better off using that fee and putting it towards a better hotel. Not to mention it's way to far from anything fun. That's not all of it. I'm just beginning. 1st night there, was a weird experience. Our hallway was dark and outdated. Looked like no one had been there in years. Go to our room, and it's all old and beat up. Was so tired my fiance and I ended up falling asleep. Next morning, there was a ROACH in our bathroom. So gross. I looked under the bed, and they don't even clean it. There was a dirty sock, loose change, a dried up orange, shot glasses. Just filthy! Stay somewhere central.

Going to miss it! Stayed the last time ever at the Riviera in Las Vegas early May '15. They've sold out to Las Vegas Convention center. In the few times I'd been there for the APA Pool Tournaments they hosted them and handled them very well. Always helpful to get best room, best deals. Casino was never nice to me but then I don't go ever expecting it to be more than entertainment. Even though the hotel staff's time there was ending, they never seemed to slack up. Even short handed at the bar, they never let it get to them or at least show it. We'll miss you guys. On to the next location, if we make tournament again and will rate more later.

RIP We stayed at the Riviera for our Honeymoon 23 years ago. We had a huge room larger than our house we rented. Loved Splash. Saw the comics and the Girls review. We always wanted to make it back and stay there again. Dang. Sorry to see you go!
