A ZERO-Star Review. TERRIBLE Motel. MISERABLE Customer Service. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. The absolute dirt worst excuse for a low-rent motel you will ever inhabit in your entire life. I once lived in a cardboard box for a couple hours in grade school as part of a science project, and the box felt like the Ritz Carlton in comparison. Believe EVERY terrible review you read about this slum lord of a scam operation. They will find any excuse to take your money. They require a B.S. $100 CASH deposit despite the fact the room was prepaid. The first thing you read upon walking into the room is a long list of all the ways you can be charged for your deposit. This includes "stained towels." I'm surprised they didn't charge a deposit for "damaged toilet paper." Upon forgetting to collect the deposit at checkout, I called to ask if I can come back and retrieve my money. Unfortunately, I was met with more hostility from Customer Service than a protester at a Trump Rally. I spoke with Sylvia, the Sith Lord of staff workers, who went on an immediate tirade. She said she was “used to being cursed out by other customers,” and threatened me not to call back because “she’s the nice one, and everybody else on the staff would go off on me.” This interaction will be key to a legal proceeding as it establishes that this motel has a culture of extremely poor customer service. This also speaks to a glaring misconduct issue. After I mentioned to the owner that I will be pursuing legal action, the owner caved and said they’d send my $100, but I’d be charged for the certified fee for a money order AND the Money Order Fee. There’s a reason that the top two most popular options selected are “Terrible” (171) and “Very Poor” (144). I overheard a conversation on-premise about roaches, and even read several comments in many of these reviews about a roach problem. I mentioned this in my own negative review. The Owner personally responded, and said my aforementioned $100 will be spent on Pest Control. Not because they’re a one-star, bad-built, bottom-of-the-barrel alleged roach motel, but because I expressed concerns about a possible roach problem. I must emphasize that I did not personally see any roaches or bed bugs in my room, however I was only in the room for a limited amount of time. There was so much noise around the motel, and since I stayed right above the front desk, I was woken up by a loud and hostile exchange, presumably among staff and customers. Thankfully, I have a massive social media following. Many of these negative reviews (and my own experience) will be mentioned in my videos moving forward. I will continue to warn my 30,000+ subscribers (and millions of viewers) to AVOID Travelodge in Las Vegas at all costs. I will likely use my platform to urge my subscribers to contact the Travelodge GM and the Better Business Bureau. We have personally been in contact with the Better Business Bureau about all these issues. Based on my experience, and screenshots of countless negative reviews, this could result in a potential full-scale investigation of Travelodge's poor customer service, employee misconduct and shady business practices. I’m strongly considering legal action against Travelodge for the lengths they will go to keep $100 in a cash deposit despite the fact the hotel was prepaid. This is no longer about the $100 for me. Here are just SOME of the many comments I agree with, and plan to forwarded to the BBB: “The bedding was unclean, when i checked in the front desk help was rude.” (opd204) “They require a $100 cash deposit that I didn’t get any sort of email about. They have an ATM in house. -They charge insane amounts for said deposit being broken. Our sheets were the cheapest I’ve had in a motel and they charge you $30 if you get mascara, dirt, or anything that seemed like normal wear and tear” (Whitney V) “Don’t stay here because it is really really low budget and needs a major renovation.” (nadauiiee) “The staff literally send me away if i dont like when taking copies of my credit card and driving license. Internet slow and dropping out. Noise from outside as this is motel (Khaosoi1)” “I booked three nights stays at Travelodge online through Priceline. Upon my arrival at Travelodge, I was informed by the front desk employee that I needed to provide a $100 cash deposit.” “When I attempted to explain my situation, the front desk employee escalated matters by calling security, who proceeded to forcibly escort me out of the hotel premises without giving me refund of the three night I have paid for. During this incident, I was treated with hostility, and in a particularly disturbing exchange, I was subjected to degrading comments, including a request to "go back to my own country." (Jamie P)

Do NOT book Travelodge! I booked three nights stays at Travelodge online through Priceline. Upon my arrival at Travelodge, I was informed by the front desk employee that I needed to provide a $100 cash deposit. I was surprised by this request, as it is customary for hotels, including reputable establishments within the Wyndham brand, to accept credit cards for such payments. In this day and age, few travelers carry significant amounts of cash, making this policy both inconvenient and unexpected. When I attempted to explain my situation, the front desk employee escalated matters by calling security, who proceeded to forcibly escort me out of the hotel premises without giving me refund of the three night I have paid for. During this incident, I was treated with hostility, and in a particularly disturbing exchange, I was subjected to degrading comments, including a request to "go back to my own country." This behavior is intolerable and goes against all principles of professionalism, customer service, and human decency.

Best bang for your buck After reading the reviews I was very apprehensive and nervous coming to the travel-lodge. After 5 days staying there, I have no idea why the complaints. Air conditioning working = check Pool open=check Clean rooms=check Comfortable bed = check Location and price= check It’s the travel-lodge. A budget hotel. If you want luxury, then pay luxurious prices. Most people that write reviews are usually negative, so my advice is to have an open mind and remember it’s the travel-lodge. For where the location is in the strip it’s the best bang for your buck. My one complaint would be the weather in August. Low of 32 at night and a high of 42 during the day. It’s like you’re walking around in an oven. Enjoy your stay! I would gladly return here if I was on a tight budget.

Ignore the bad reviews. I was apprehensive when I checked the reviews. A lot of negative feedback. I was worried the reviews would be true. For the life of me after my 5 day visit I can’t understand why people complain. It’s the travelodge people. Your basic hotel. Ac working -check Pool open - check Clean rooms- check Comfortable bed- check Location and price- check To be on the strip the location is perfect. You get what you pay for. If you expect luxury, then pay luxury prices. I would gladly return to the travelodge. My advice is to ignore the bad reviews as they are petty and listen to the good reviews. Most people will complain then leave a bad review. Enjoy your stay. My only complaint, would be the weather in August. It’s 32 at night and 41 during the day. It’s like walking around in an oven

good for the price Front deask staff was unhappy and humorless, only one ice machine in the entire place, at the front office. Only clean room when you ask and then you leave. Weak coffee but kudos for having it in room, transparent pricing, low prices, no hidden fees, everyone but front desk staff was nice. Old building but updated rooms, good a/c, quiet once you close the door, but sometimes people hang out in front of rooms and in lot. Staff not great at communicating with each other. Had to ask twice for stuff to be fixed and then it took a few days. Spotty wifi, remote a bit spotty with signal. Only $325 and change for 5 nights, so good for the price, would stay there again.
