Hampton Inn Latrobe

Good luck sleeping We spent one night here and that is enough. We had a king single. The room was okay, though the TV was positioned oddly to watch if you were sitting on the couch. If you like watching TV in bed, it’s perfect. Everything seemed clean and functional, except the water in the bathroom sink barely trickled in. Staff people were nice. There were enough electric outlets in the room. Breakfast was the usual, though the eating area was nice. Unfortunately, the hotel is right on US#30. Traffic noise was loud and annoying when I was trying to sleep and the hard bed didn’t help. I was happy to move on. The Internet was the slowest that I’ve experienced in some time. There was no EV charging. I don’t mean to sound too harsh. It was a typical one night, roadside hotel, just not what I expected with that name and pricepoint.

Excellent Time Very nice hotel. Clean. Nice rooms. Nice linens. They did not clean every day only every other day, but it worked for us. Very friendly front desk staff. Good breakfast.

✨✨Steeler Fans at Latrobe ✨✨ It was an ok experience. I intended to book the Arnold Palmer Marriott across the way but accidentally selected this hotel. First being Hilton Honors members we were not offered water or anything. Receptionist was nice and we fid appreciate the Steelers decor at front desk area. Breakfast didn’t stand up to the Hampton’s we have been to in the past, no variety. Drury Inn does the best job at breakfast, but there is not one in the Latrobe area. Room relatively clean and most things in working order, the first room we went too someone had hand pulled the window blind so we could not open the blinds to let light in and the attendant said no maintenance person would be available to repair, so we moved to another room. These rooms need brighter light as they are dated with dark color carpets and finishes along with yellow hue lighting, which is initially depressing. I’m hoping whenever this hotel is remodeled you will select lighter colors and daylight bright lights! Seems like walls are very thin, we heard children running & playing in hallway for about an hour around 11:30 pm. I can’t say I would choose to stay at this hotel again unless I had no other choice.

Musty smell The room smells so bad. Possibly mold? The rooms are not great - they’ve added newish furniture but you can tell they’ve just tried to update and clean up an old motel. It’s really musty. I wouldn’t stay for more than one night, max.

Quick getaway This hotel was perfect for what we needed. Staff were friendly, rooms were clean and quiet. There were plenty of options at the breakfast bar and coffee 24/7. The location was close to everything we needed.
