Cancelled reservation This hotel customer service is absolutely horrible. I booked a reservation 6 months ago and got an email today that I cancelled it?? I immediately called and they said that there was not credit card on file. I booked it through their reservation desk and a CC is required. They said they did not receive payment?? I provided the CC and they did not run it so they cancelled my reservation. Why would they not call and verify before just cancelling it and also saying I requested to cancel? What a joke!!! I have had this reservation for months to attend a concert in Laughlin. They now say they can do nothing as the hotel is sold out. I called just after 12:00 and the reservation clerk could not do anything and said they were sending notice to the front desk manager and I would be called. Three hours later and no call, I called back and the front desk clerk said there was nothing she could do to reinstate the reservation. I demanded to speak to the hotel manager and she put me on hold, then came back on and transferred me. No one picked up the alleged manager line so I left a message for a callback. Never received a callback so I called again and got through to the alleged front desk manager. He said he could not reinstate the reservation and said he could not take a CC to make a new one and transferred me to reservations again. He said to tell them the hotel front desk manager had talked to me. Reservations then told me that hotel was sold out, they could not call the front desk manager and even said the front desk takes CC numbers all the time. She said to call the front desk back. I called again and spoke to the same individual who claimed he would talk to reservations and call me back. NO CALL BACK again! I called back and he completely blew me off saying there was nothing he could do. He said he would let the Hotel Manager know and call me back. I am been run around for over 6 hours. I will not patronize this hotel or any associated with it.

The Laughlin Golden Nugget is tired. It tries hard but hotel and gounds are run down. Stayed 2 nights with our 2 dogs (Monday-Wednesday). Confirmed by reservation operator that I had a pet room. Paid extra for pet room. Upon check in, there were no more pet rooms available. Given regular room. To be fair, they did not charge me extra for pets. Filthy carpet, rusty bathroom sink, beat up furniture, thread bare towels, sagging mattress. All of the power went out in the hotel on Monday night (8 -10 pm). The halls and stairways were pitch black. No emergency lighting anywhere. All hotel employees had no idea what was going on. The courtyard was a mess from the trees. On a positive note, had good food and service at Claim Jumper.

Don’t stay just eat there Make sure to get a copy of your reservation confirmation with the dates and the total on the prices. They charged me for days I wasn’t there due to their system mistake. No additional compensation was given for their overcharge and the hassles of having it removed and the insult of being over charged in the first place due to thwir system error though they did remove the extra days (I informed the employee handling it I have screen shots of original reservation info). The internet is terrible either kicks you off randomly even when you are in your room. I was glad they had refrigerators in the rooms but you have to have a light switch a certain way so they would stay on and no one told us about it. Over all would not stay again. The Salt grass restaurant food was very good and is the only reason I would return.

Just an OK Stay. The hotel was fairly clean. The pool area is smaller than we anticipated. The ground's keeping could be improved especially along Colorado Riverside. Trash and litter spread across the grounds. We ate at Bubba's Shrimp restaurant in the hotel - the salmon and shrimp were overcooked and had no taste. The service was poor and the manager did nothing about the poor meal. We live in Phoenix and wanted to come over here and check this area out. Other than maybe coming back to play a round of golf, I doubt that we will come back to this area again.
