skip it if you want to sleep, stay elsewhere. Blasting music very audible for15 of the 17 hours we stayed here, with a slight reprieve at 3am to overhear yelling neighbors through paper-thin walls. Shower entirely floods the bathroom each time you use it.

Look elsewhere. The hotel is extremely dated. Some carpet in the halls has been updated but the king room in which we stayed had ugly worn brown carpet and dark worn furniture. The shower had been updated but not the vanity/sink. They only gave us 2 sets of towels and didn’t service the room for the entire 3 nights of our stay. We had to ask for replacement towels, toilet paper (one partially used roll) . The staff did seem very friendly which helped us to put up with the otherwise dismal surroundings. The bed and the American-style buffet breakfast were good.

Dirty hotel Staff was overall fine and kind. No problem at all there. Our room was dirty, smelly (I sprayed air freshener on our carpeting throughout our stay) and gross. I didn't want to walk barefoot in the room bc the carpeting looked old, worn and had some stains. Mold in the shower. Dings and dents in the walls and furniture throughout. Part of the bathroom molding was hanging off. The air vent over my bed had a clothing security tag and a dust bunny blowing out every time the air came on. The gym: One of the 2 machine handles is completely broken. They're missing 20 and 25 lb weights. The 2nd treadmill in from the door feels like it's going to break apart when you put in at a low 3 walking speed. The last morning I was there, the water machine was out of water in the gym. It's not a water machine that connects to a water line like the rest of the hotels I've visited the past few years, but rather, one that has a removable bottle in it. They called to have it replaced ... but within 30 minutes I gave up waiting. One last thing: "Andre" from the hotel sent text messages to me each day, asking how our stay was going. I actually replied to one of the texts a couple days in and attached photos -- never heard back! And after we checked out early on Saturday, I got another text about check out procedure for Sunday ... which let me know it was automated and no-one was actually sending them personally. I used to stay here often pre-Covid, but I must say, this place has gone downhill and is really dirty. I can not stay here again until this place gets a major renovation. There are many other hotels in the area that are better kept and have more amenities.

Mediocre High-Priced Spread Although Hilton and Double Tree are positioned and priced as upscale lodging, this one was just an over-priced hotel. It appeared to have started life as an old-style Holiday Inn structured for the conference trade. The first room we were given smelled of cat pee, so we changed rooms. The rooms are small and cramped feeling as are the bath and lav areas. There is an attached restaurant for dinner, and breakfast is available in the hotel itself for a mere $15. Breakfast offers a few more hot dishes than the standard breakfast-included hotels, and table service is available for coffee. Otherwise, it's self-serve. No other food options in the area except to drive into Laurel or Burtonsville (10-15 minutes). Hotel is right at an I-95 exit, and there is a gas station adjacent that, like the hotel, is seriously overpriced (other standard-priced gas is within a mile or two on Sandy Spring Road).

Pleasant experience. Great service from checkin to checking out. Pleasant and warm welcome, an awesome experience. I had a unique situation where i need to check out prior to my original set reservation and the manager was very understanding and helpful in making sure that everything was taken care of and handle to my liking.
