Dated Property The hotel had received damage from a windstorm just prior to the stay so I tried to factor that in but it was clear that the hotel was very dated. Room in need of touch up repairs to drywall and paint, older carpets and a musty smell throughout the floors. Additionally the door kept shorting out the key, causing me to get it reset every day of the stay.

In need of maintenance and TLC Property does not seem to be well maintained. Outside of double pane window in our room was broken, pool closed the entire weekend, elevator out of order on our last day (that was fun to hall all our stuff down the stairs from the third floor), halls and stairwells were all quite warm. Called down to see if we could get an extra towel for our room, maybe I was expecting too much to have someone come bring it, but was told we could come get one. Little black bugs in the bathroom. Just overall not impressed.

Beware, dishonesty and gaslighting We have been traveling with our dogs for 25 years. We ALWAYS check which hotels are pet friendly and what the cost is. Accordingly, we made a reservation at this hotel thru IHG and discussed the dogs. One dog died so when we arrived we told the desk clerk we only wanted to be charged for one dog and they said fine, while clearly looking at the dog. When we got up in the morning, the rude and entitled clerk informed us we would be paying $250 for the dog and they “just didn’t know” why no one told us any differently, despite having numerous opportunities along the way. This is clearly fraudulent and the aforementioned clerk was only concerned that we were talking about her, even though she would not call the manager and was the representative for the hotel. Do not stay here. You don’t know what they’ll charge you for.

Should’ve stayed somewhere else It has been travels a lot for business and frequently stays at IHG hotels. This was by far the worst. The floors were dirty, the washer and dryer were broken, the safe did not work, they have a very strange shower activator we could not figure out until the employee showed us, and worst of all the lock to our room did not work. The one employee on staff called the manager because her husband does maintenance on the property. They did not feel like coming back and suggested we change to a lesser room. We were promised to receive all our points back. That did not happen. We will be calling the corporate office next week. Ps.... The one employee who was at the hotel with Katie. She was trying her best and was a lovely person that was placed in a bad situation. There was a line of people waiting to complain. It broke my heart.

Bring your own soap and shampoo To save money, there are bulk pump bottles in the shower. Housekeeping obviously doesn’t check the levels. Get in the shower, no body wash, figured I would use shampoo, no such luck. The best is they don’t even provide a bar of soap at the sink. Took bottle off the wall, added a bit of water and there was just enough soap to wash, barely that us. Reported it to the front desk and they said, sorry but thanks for letting us know. Now that’s service! By the way, the hotel was really full, and if you weren’t at breakfast by 8:00, the selection was limited and they weren’t going to get any more food. Just be aware, not a good experience to say the least. Best Western may be a better choice, at a better rate. Beware!!
