You get what you pay for... There's a reason this place isn't expensive.... that being said, if you need somewhere to rest your head for the night, it'll work. It's close to the hospital so there is fairly consistent siren noise. The AC sounded like it was going to takeoff from the wall. We were on the 4th floor and I believe this has been "renovated," but the low ceilings, textured walls, leaky shower makes it feel more like a fancy bandaid was put on it. Won't stay again, but worked for a night.

Great stay The pictures of this property don’t do it justice. I wish I had photos to share (the hotels direct site has current photos) These are definitely old photos but the property has been recently updated. The room was beautiful and cozy. The front office staff was great just as they were a few years ago. My only negative is that the room I was in didn’t have any place to hang your clothing except for a few modern peg hooks on the wall. I would definitely stay here again

Older Hotel We stayed here for three days this week. The location is really hard to get to as you have to drive thru a fancy hotel's parking lot to get down to it. It is very dirty looking from the outside. When I entered I asked to see the room prior to checking in and I was told they had taken out the bushes and the shutters to start painting outside. When I inspected the room, it was one of the newer remodeled rooms but you could still tell it was old as there were still holes in the walls where paint had chipped and they just pained over the top of it. The lighting in the parking lot was very minimal so not a place I wanted to be after dark. They were big rooms. The TVs were smaller and the beds were just OK, since it was a newer room the mattresses were quite firm. The shower worked great and we didn't see any bugs while we were there. The breakfast was the worst and we ended up skipping the breakfast as there was no waffle maker and the coffee I had tasted like dirt. There is a Dunkin Donout two blocks down!!! Once when going down to the lobby, the elevator stopped on third floor and the workers doing the remodeling had beer in their hands and a case of beer. The ice machine was broken. They did clean the room pretty well each day but due to the condition of the rest of the hotel and the breakfast I would not recommend it and I won't stay there again.

Old Hotel Hotel has good bones and it looks like they are slowly renovating the place. Shower had good water pressure but beds were uncomfortable. Huge rooms but older furniture. Breakfast was fine, no hot foods. Staff was friendly and nice.

It must have been the last room available as it somewhere I will ever come again! The front desk gentleman was very nice but I the room he gave me must have been the oldest one in the building. curtains torn, lamp shade broken, wallpaper peeled off walls, the ceiling looked as if it was going to fall in and I didn't notice til we were unpacked and laying on the bed. When you looked up it was as if the particles were going to be with you. The musty smell didn't help either. We thought it was the air conditioner so we opted to be hot just to eliminate the odor. Then we woke up and as I bent down to get my shoes I noticed a dead "bug" for lack of better words. I wouldn't have written the review but the advertising of breakfast that was gone, out or broken just took the cake. This was by far my worst hotel experience ever and I was embarrassed that I brought my children here. I absolutely took pictures of it all in the event management would ever be so kind to return my call!.
