Super 8 by Wyndham Lincoln West

Moving Trip Don’t stay here unless you need to. Room was clean and new carpet but the rest of the facility was not good. Area was kinda sketchy. Served its purpose as a quick overnight stay to get sleep moving across the country but I wouldn’t recommend it.

Scandalous Poor customer service, denied collecting a security deposit yet couldn’t find us a signed receipt, manager screamed at us, front clerk sent us to the wrong room then got upset at us for it? Terrible terrible place to stay!

Unreasonable business practices While I can't speak for the actual accommodations I can speak for their customer service. I 1000% do not recommend booking this motel. I had booked a two night stay for a military drill weekend. The night I was flying out my flight ended up being delayed and then cancelled at 8pm so I could not get to Lincoln. I immediately called the motel and advised them my flight had just been cancelled and that I would not be able to make it and needed to cancel the reservation. I was told they would not cancel as it was within 24 hours of the reservation. I asked to speak with a manager and was told one was not available. I called the next morning and spoke with the same individual and was told again that they would not cancel as it was within 24 hours and there was nothing they could do. I asked if that was for the one night or both nights and was not given an answer. Therefore, I had to pay nearly $300 for a motel room that could not be used due to no fault of my own. I understand the policy and the reason for the policy however when a customer can't get there and there is no grace that is terrible business practice. The website indicates a great cancelation policy and they appear to support military but this is not the case for this location. I contacted corporate regarding one of their affiliates and they advised that there was nothing they could do as it was an independently owned franchise. They did however forward the response from the manager who offered a 50% discount on my next stay. That will never happen and good job on losing a customer. Super 8 should be embarrassed and I would recommend Wyndham not associate themselves with this motel.

BAD SUPER 8! I have never stayed in a super eight that was bad before. The front desk guy who seem to be the owner, was not friendly at all. There seem to be homeless people milling around and in the parking lot. Our room had a window air conditioner that did not blow out cold air. The room was hot, and the bathroom door wouldn’t even close all the way. The beds were hard and uncomfortable. The breakfast consisted of cereal and a pancake machine that had dried batter stuck in it. It felt like a sketchy location! I would not go there again!

You want the minimum. If you plan on staying for the least accommodation, but for a good price, this is your hotel. It is also easy to find.
