Hilton is embarrassing itself! This was my third and probably my last time staying at this hotel. It just seems to get more run down every time I go and there's not that much time in between. The furniture looks like it came from Goodwill, a little bit beat up. There was something in the shower, still not sure what it was. Maybe a piece of toilet paper or Kleenex. I don't know but it shouldn't have been there. The bed spread and the sheets of one of the queen beds had some sort of pink stains on them that look like Kool-Aid that didn't get washed out. The corner of the living room area looked gross. The evening reception with the free light snacks is a joke. They put out some cheese and fruit but a half an hour before it was supposed to be over that was all gone and they didn't fill it up again. The only other choice for a snack were Lay's potato chips or Chex snack mix. I realize this is not a five-star hotel and I'm not going to get caviar served to me, but come on, bags of Lay's chips? I don't know what has happened to Hilton hotels because we stayed at another one in Schaumburg Illinois a few months ago and the curtains were so rotted that if you touched them basically just shredded apart. There were other issues there as well which I addressed with the manager who was kind enough to give me some more Hilton Honors points for my inconveniences. Anyway, I spent just under $400 for two nights at this Lombard location and it definitely was not worth it.

Worst service at any Hilton. Stay at Embassy Suites. Reserved a king size bed and had a confirmation of the same. When checking in was told that they are all full up and that all they had was a double queen. I used points from my US Bank card. Front desk stated that the third party used always gives you the cheapest room. States on app uncovered parking. No where did it state that we would have to pay $12.50 per night. Front desk never asked about my Hilton Honors rewards. Never told us about breakfast. Security bracket on door all screws loose. Black mold in shower. Scalding hot water. Floor lamp post loose on base, leaning. Bar sink won’t drain. Called front desk told that an engineer would be coming up. Only one hand towel in bathroom. No way to hang hand towels anywhere. Only one coffee cup and it was dirty. Asked for more and they promptly came up with more. Tornado warning all night. Went to front desk to ask where we should go the woman said the tornados always go around us don’t worry. Asked again about engineer to take care of plugged sink. They called him and stated he would be up in 2 minutes. Engineer never showed up. Very difficult for the person next to the wall to get in and out of the queen bed that’s why we always ask for a king size bed. Found a used tube of lotion in the desk drawer. Dirty coffee cub and used lotion indicates that someone isn’t cleaning the room properly.

Do not stay here! This hotel is terrible. You have to be in your room by 10pm. No outside good or beverages in the common area. It’s like a prison the security and front desk are so rude. The hotel rooms are gross and dusty and I had blood on our sheets. Charged $12.50 per night for parking, and over priced rooms. Worst hotel I have ever been at.

Worst Stay Ever This was the most ghetto hotel I ever stayed in. Hotel staff was ok but the guests and the rude ass kids made the experience bad…the pool had so much chlorine you could barely breathe…hot tub always had a bunch of kids under 12 in it ….staff tried but failed at enforcing rules…. Some kid pulled the fire alarm at 7am and we had to evacuate the building…WORST STAY EVER
