Claridge’s, Maybourne Hotel Collection

A Magical Stay at Claridge’s I recently visited London for an early Christmas trip with my Mum and had the pleasure of staying at Claridge’s. The rooms are impeccably designed, with every detail carefully thought out. The amenities are far superior to any other hotel I’ve stayed at in London, making it a luxurious and comfortable retreat. Although there was a slight issue during check-in due to what seemed to be miscommunication made by the individual on the front desk, the staff at Claridge’s went above and beyond to resolve it. Their dedication to guest satisfaction was evident, and they genuinely showed how much they care. The highlight of my first morning was using the pool facilities. My Mum and I had the pool to ourselves, and it was incredibly relaxing. Breakfast in the foyer was lovely, though the lady checking guests in on the second day could have been a little more polite. Regarding food, we particularly loved the festive touch of Christmas-themed pastries in our room, which added to the magical atmosphere of our stay. The butler service was exceptional. The kind and attentive lady assigned to us went out of her way offering to assist us. After learning about a soup spill from the room service cart that had resulted in a minor burn on my leg, she showed genuine concern. She also swiftly located a pair of jeans I’d sent for cleaning due to a soup stain and returned them promptly – a level of service that truly impressed me. Little touches made the stay even more special, such as the florist bringing a stunning bouquet to our room. The welcome drink and delicious confectionary items in the room on arrival. The bathroom was spacious and luxurious, featuring both a large bathtub and a rainfall shower that dispensed essential oils – a perfect blend of relaxation and indulgence. Lastly, the hotel’s location is ideal, placing us in the heart of London with everything just a stone’s throw away. I cannot wait to return to Claridge’s.

Wonderful Simply sensational. Everything at the hotel is amazing. The staff are incredible and their attention to detail is fantastic. Our room was stunning. The extra touches and service phenomenal . Staff couldn’t do more to help and we loved every minute of our stay. One of the best hotels I have stayed in anywhere in the world. First class service of the highest order. Everyone takes pride in their roles and the staff work together as a team. Wonderful wonderful hotel. Thank you to the staff.

The most special experience Truly the best hotel we have ever stayed at, in every single way. From the moment you step inside Claridge’s you are met with a team of staff who have seemingly been instructed to go above and beyond in every single way. We decided to stay at Claridge’s in April 2024 during our wedding weekend and it was one of the best decisions we made. Staff were so kind, welcoming and helpful and never failed to surprise. Small details throughout the weekend gave us a continuous reason to smile, from Claridge’s branded collar stiffeners after I got my shirt steamed, the staff being able to help tie my father-in-law’s bow tie to waking up to a congratulations cake the day after our wedding. The room was beautiful, the food and cocktails were delicious. There were so many other things I could mention but I would be here all day. Thank you to every member of staff that made our weekend unforgettable. We can’t wait to go back and experience the hotel again.

Excellent Returned to Claridges for my mother’s annual birthday treat. Excellent as always and made my mums 81st birthday celebrations go with a bang. Lunch was fabulous and service from Robert in the Reading Room second to none and attention to detail for all our guests excellent. Beds are soooo comfortable and rooms excellently appointed. Only slight disappointment was breakfast, below standard and service not what we usually get at Claridges, however, this didn’t dampen our stay and already booked our return visit by the time the wonderful John had seen us safely into our taxi to the station.

2nd to none An absolutely wonderful experience every time! From the moment the doorman greets you to the moment the doorman says goodbye it’s like being in another world. The staff are so attentive without being intrusive nothing is an issue, and I don’t know how they do it but they seem to know what you want before you know yourself. Nothing is too much trouble, everybody begins to know you and you are treated as not just a commodity, you are treated as a guest as it should be when you go to a hotel such as Claridges. I could not recommend a better hotel that feels like home but with all the luxuries and amenities that you need for whatever reason that you are staying there. I would like to thank the staff again for their attentiveness and the way they are with us when we are there and we cannot wait to come back and see you again soon
