Amazing Hotel was amazing. Room was nice, lobby was nice, and restaurant was nice. The pool was very cool with all the lights and stuff, and the bar. It didn’t really feel like much of an indoor pool, which is good. Room was great. There was a TV by the bathtub! View was amazing of the street and Her Majesty’s Theatre. Splendid hotel! 5 stars!

Lovely, quirky hotel in the heart of London's theatre disctrict This is a lovely, quirky hotel with a home away from home sort of comfortable feeling. In the centre of the theatre district it is very well located. Staff are very welcoming and helpful. The rooms are very comfortable with large beds and fine bedding and bathroom. The breakfast is very good with plenty of options. The swimming pool was slightly on the cooler side and the gym was well equipped (could have done witha rowing machine). One thing that would vastly improve the health/wellbeing facilities is an infrared sauna and steam room and there is space to house these:)

Perfect location, amazing hotel From beginning to end a lovely stay in this super cool hotel. Staff, food and of course decor were amazing. Just a perfect place. Location is in the heart of London, next to Trafalgar Square and the National Gallery and a short walk to many other sights.

Better to stay away Better to stay away especially if you count on their swimming pool Don't count on the pool -they market it for potential hotel guests but at the same time for private outside events. I booked this hotel over others for 1 (birthday) night after having 6 nights in another Firmdale hotel (Number sixteen, which was very good). Unfortunately, the pool was closed for 2 (!) events. One in the afternoon + evening and the other at the following morning. As a "compensation" they sent me a bottle of champagne with 2 glasses (for a solo traveller) which I sent back. After that, I received a phone call from the concierge letting me know that the pool will be open the next day from 7 am-11 am "just for me". When I reached the pool in those hours, it was completely desserted, with no furniture at all and no place to sit on. The only person there was a repairman who drilled in a very noisy way a board that was left from the evening party. Well, since I have been there already... I wanted to try to get in the water and asked for a chaise longue. Instead, they sent an upholstered kind of a dining room chair . Tried the water before leaving.. it was cold and not even heated. I think that all the above are enough for this review. I gave it 2 stars and not 1 bcs of the pretty room and location which are important too but comparable to many hotels around
