Overpriced less than mediocre massage My partner and I arrived for a couples massage and were warmly greeted by a staff member at the front desk. We arrived early and waited in the lobby until our scheduled time, when the therapist finally escorted us to the room. Unfortunately, she didn't greet us or introduce herself, simply gave us instructions and we waited for her return. The first interaction with the other therapist wasn't much better; her first words were commenting on my sunburn without a greeting, predicting discomfort during the massage. Throughout the session, she never asked about my comfort again. The towel covering the face port was super rough and uncomfortable, and the massage creams were unexpectedly cold. Strangely, my lower back was completely avoided during the massage, and I wasn't asked about my preferred pressure at all. Despite waiting over 10 minutes for the therapist in the lobby, our massage ended exactly 60 minutes after our scheduled appointment time, not accounting for their delay. Paying $270 for two underwhelming massages felt very unjustified given the mediocre service and the fact that we were shorted 15 minutes. For that price, we anticipated top-tier service and treatment, but we found better quality for a fraction of the cost at our local masseuse. It was evident the therapists were only there to collect their paycheck and weren't too concerned about the service they were providing. Overall, our experience was quite disappointing, and we certainly won't be recommending the spa to others.

Concert Visit to London's Budweiser Gatdens Enjoyable stay, friendly, helpful staff. Very nicely renovated mansion in a quiet residential neighbourhood. Modern bathroom with roomy shower, BUT, shower control very low on wall for we seniors! Wall mount A/C unit tends to blow on beds. Were eventually able to adjust to an acceptable temp and fan. Shutters on one set of windows dusty, carpet acceptable but could be cleaner. Good supply of towels and clean linens. Bed slightly lumpy but comfortable. The breakfast buffet was very well done with something for everyone. Slept in so missed the closing time! Door handle loose and difficult to insert key.

Elegant and Delicious The Idlewyld is the most idyllic venue if you want to feel special and taken care of. From the minute you arrive, you are transported by the the stately Inn and elegant gardens. The staff offer excellent service and the food is not only beautifully displayed, but also tastes delicious. We started with drinks on the back patio in a beautiful seating area and continued the evening with a private family dinner in the library where we celebrated our anniversary. Everything was perfect! We couldn't have asked for a better night.

Wonderful!! Just WONDERFUL!!! What an incredible time we had at Idlewyld Inn. Initially we were impressed by the structure itself but soon the staff themselves blew us away: EVERYONE is so proud of the Inn! People were keen to show us the facility and talk about its history. The staff all seemed happy & excited to be at work. Then the food & service just compounded our impression. What a FABULOUS experience!!!! Thank you thank you thank you for providing such joy and beauty to the world!

Quiet and quaint place to stay in London Have stayed here several times now and I enjoy that this location is away from the noisy construction, traffic, and the downtown buzz of party goers. The rooms spacious enough and are well maintained with ample lighting including windows in both the room and washroom. Quiet enough to take business video calls and get a good nights sleep. Housekeeping does a good job- didn’t find any random hairs or inches of dust. Amenities included all the basics including a Nespresso machine and two bottles of Nestle water. A mini empty fridge is also available for convenience. My only frustrations: wish there was a kettle for tea (running hot water through the Nespresso machine is gross), the TV picked up every channel except for the local or national news, and the AC system blowing air above the bed made for breezy nights but turning it off made it sweaty. All in all, would recommend this hotel for business or leisure.
