Enjoyed the Park Hotel and nearby Sunfest. We just completed a lovely stay at the Park Hotel. The room was clean , comfortable and quiet with fine amenities. The staff members that we encountered were very hospitable. A special mention to Rica at the front desk. Her cheerful reception and helpful manner was much.appreciated.

No thanks! I was definitely expecting better especially for the price we paid and hotel rating. Where is a chair or table in the bedroom to put your things on? There was plenty of empty floor space! You could see that the bed sagged alot in the centre of the bed without even laying on it! Not a good sleep for the smaller person in the bed. Drapes are worn.

A home away from home totally sweet Loved the large fluffy pillows and the very comfy beds. The room was the coolest we have ever been in. We loved the barn doors separating the bedroom from the living room. It was like an apartment. We could see ourselves living there. Everything was very neat and clean and spacious. The shower in the bathroom was very elegant and it was nice that the sink was just outside the bathroom so one could use it while another was busy in bathroom. Also great is the fact there is a Jack Astor's right next door and you can order from your room and get food in 20 min. you don't even pay the delivery person, the bill gets added to your hotel bill. The staff are very friendly and go out of their way to help you. Also they have a great breakfast and great area for eating it. Also very pleasant music for dinning. One other thing that is great is that there is a convenience store also beside the hotel. And the chocolate bars sold at front desk from Switzerland( Flirt) are they best we ever tasted. I had the Raspberry and cherry dark chocolate. It was not strong tasting like some are. It was like heaven in your mouth. We look forward to going again this summer and staying at the Park hotel again. The hotel room was like home away from home

Premium price for less than “Best Western” service The hotel rate and parking were booked through Expedia because there was no accessible contact for the hotel. Sadly I discovered everyone had a lower rate and their website itself offered free parking and late checkout for “out of towners” as their website advertised. I thought I qualified but no. Maximum rate and parking had to be paid. I had to really push it to get the manager to reduce parking. Bait and switch. Second, the breakfast is not as good as it was previous years. Stale muffins, no yoghurt, Special K in kids boxes. They are reducing costs clearly but still charging premium prices. Might as well go to Best Western.
