Clean rooms, paid parking Clean room, walking distant from the mall. Friendly staff. You will have to pay $10 per night for parking. Small bathroom space but clean. Beds were clean and comfortable as well. Housekeeping staff seemed to care about their jobs and do well. Did not see or use the pool so no comments on that. Try out Cheesecake Factory if you’re in the area.

Great Stay. Nice clean, updated hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are nicely laid out, even if the bathrooms are a little small. The location was convenient to most of Denver. We'd definitely stay there again. The complimentary breakfast had a nice variety.

We were pampered! The Hyatt Place South/Park Meadows hotel is our favorite place to stay. All the employees are excellent - from the front desk to the manager, housekeeping, maintenance (repairs), and kitchen help - just the most helpful, professional, congenial folks. We were pampered!! They insisted on meeting every need quickly, even when we told them we could wait. The hotel, which was recently renovated (we loved it before the reno on our previous wonderful visits) is super conveniently located off I 25, across from Park Meadows Mall, with a multitude of nearby restaurants, easy access to 470 (to the airport, Boulder, and more), a short drive Downtown and other major arteries. There are so many restaurant choices including some of our favorites like Seasons 52, PF Chang, and a new favorite, View House, as well as plenty of popular fast food places like In-and-Out Burger, Chipotle, and more. The hotel offers a complimentary breakfast that includes a better than expected range of choices too! We can't say enough good things about the Hyatt Place South hotel.

Generally, A Great Place to Stay, But... By most measurements, this is a very nice place to stay. The staff is quite friendly and eager to help in any way possible. The rooms are expansive, clean, comfortable, quiet, and well-equipped. The location is within waking distance of many dining options. There is shopping nearby. Interstates 25 and 470 are very close, so you can be on your way quickly. A couple of things dropped my overall rating and have kept me from booking this hotel more frequently (I make 6-10 trips to this area per year). First is the parking fee. It is one of those hidden charges when you book a hotel that always makes me want to book elsewhere. I understand parking fees in downtown, urban areas in which parking is scarce. There is ample parking here and the fee is simply an uncharge the hotel has chosen to sneak in. Second thing was more concerning. During my last stay at this hotel I stayed for two nights. I arrived late (delayed flight). While going to my room, I encountered a young girl (teenage) lying on the hallway floor at the end of the hall near the heater. I placed my luggage in my room and went out to ask her if everything was okay. She said she had made a phone call and was waiting for a call back. On the second night of my stay, I returned to my room from an outing and I noted that there was a tumbler sitting on the heater where the girl had been the night before. I had a very early flight out, so I just went to bed. I left the next morning at 4:00 am...the same girl was now sleeping on the floor next to the heater. I told the woman at the front desk about what I had seen as I checked out. She claimed to be totally unaware of the situation and did not seem overly concerned. My concern was not that the girl was there. My concern was that she had been there for multiple nights and the hotel staff was had no idea. In a time in which most hotels train their staff to look for signs of trafficking and such...this hotel was woefully inadequate in their due diligence.
