Excellent hotel stay prior to cruise Excellent hotel in all avenues. Swimming pool beautiful on rooftop. Very close to port for Carnival Cruise line. Will stay again if in the area.

Great property, friendly and accommodating staff. This was a great property with a decent bar and food. Rooms were great and a/c was fantastic. The pool area was great, they had poolside food and bar service. The only downside was there was a guest with a bluetooth speaker blasting his music. Therefore, we were all forced to listen to his choice of music, annoying. There is music playing anyway, so it conflicted with his blaring speaker. I was forced to to back to the hotel after checking out due to the July 19 meltdown, and they let me right back in my room instead of making me wait until 3pm. Very much appreciated.

Staff: Great. Location: Awesome/Perfect. - Room/ Ventilation? Avoid!! This was a great hotel, right in the middle of the best parts of Long Beach. The staff are great as well and helpful and friendly. Sadly, at least for my room floor, everytime someone in another room was doing something (eating pasta, smoking, etc) we would smell it coming through our vents. Didn't make for a great experience.

Expectations Exceeded at this Hotel! This past weekend, we had 20 family members come together at the Hyatt Centric Long Beach Pike for two nights for a Celebration of Life. The entire experience at this hotel was amazing, from it being in the perfect location, to the rooms, the food in the cafe, the rooftop pool & bar, and especially the treatment we received by all staff members. A special shout-out to Norbert, for helping me with the reservations; to Richard at the rooftop bar for being patient and gracious; and most notably to Darnell who, from the moment we walked in the door, took it upon himself to make sure all of us were taken care of, and who really added a warm and personal touch to our gathering. All involved helped to make our special occasion a truly memorable one. Thank you!

Poor quality and poor service Had a change of plans and brought kids, they couldn’t change my room so I asked to transfer to another Hyatt and they denied me. The bathroom was bad all around, firstly there is raised tile at the threshold that’s a hazard and I hurt my toe on that prey bad. There was no water pressure in the ADA tub even though I requested a regular shower.
