Best LAX hotel - not like the rest... BEST option for close to airport...the pool and bar are nice and the rooms are clean and quiet. It is so much better than one of the large chains...very cruisy, and decent food. Nice to have Ralphs's (market) next door. My one suggestion - you need more staff - the ones you have are lovely, but always only one person at desk (especially during busy times) and the rest seem run ragged trying to do it all. Bar staff are great as well. Thanks for a nice visit - we will be back next time passing through LAX.

Great service and great location Really good service, I was trying to get some important work done and the wifi was struggling a bit in my room. They cleared out a table in the restaurant for me to use at night, as well as the next day, and then found another room for me to use so that I could take calls without the background noise of other diners in the restaurant. Hotel itself is in a good location and feels quite nice, bed was quite comfortable. Have stayed here several times and will be back

Not up to Marriott standards. Long time, Marriott and ambassador, had extremely poor experience. Property not up to Marriott standards. Filled out internal survey and never heard back… Had many issues ranging from stench in the hallways, water coming through our ceiling for two days, very little follow through from staff (Staff is friendly, but definitely does not follow through w/ what they say they will do). They said they would come one night and never did so. I had to call the front desk to get them to actually do it. Ice has to be brought up to your room and takes forever. No understanding or loyalty to longtime Marriott customers. I could go on but not worth my time. Unfortunately, just not a well run facility that needs severe overhaul.

Wonderful hotel Our family of 6 stayed in a 2-bedroom suite. After using the key to open the main door, there is a small entryway for shoes, and then separate doors for each bedroom which we really liked. The bathrooms were clean and looked remodeled, the beds were clean and comfortable, and the location was great (felt safe, right next to a Ralph's and also close to a few restaurants, in addition to LMU). The only negative was there is only valet parking or you have to find parking yourself. We would definitely stay here again.

Love the ambiance of the hotel Just missing a hotel shuttle to the airport Earlier and later private pool hours for hotels guest would also be nice Close to Loyola Marymount University which was our purpose there Amenities surrounding hotel are amazing
