If you need literally nothing more than a place to change your clothes and pass out, you're good here. I was excited to stay a couple nights in this iconic LA hotel. BUT the novelty faded immediately when in the room. If loud and ill functioning are your thing, you will be ok staying here. CON: The first room they assigned to me was directly adjacent to the corner of the 405 freeway and sunset blvd. So loud I could not hear the antique AC wall unit straining to function! PRO: They were willing to move me. CON: BUT he said "I can offer you a room on the quiet side with really bad spotty wi-fi " Really? I can have quieter OR wi-fi? I said no to that. He found another room. Quiet with Wi-fi, but the AC did not work. It ran LOUDLY (louder than the freeway outside) for 8 hours straight without getting below 72 (it started at 74) I set it at 65. It never got to 65 degrees during two days of constant running. The desk chair was broken and visibly fraying. Even on the 'quiet side' of the building 12 floors up on a Sunday morning, the Freeway is LOUD. Also, bathroom sink backed up when using and no water pressure in the shower. Mini fridge was not even on when I go to the room. PRO: Nice employees. Clean. Fast valet. Nice pool area. Room size ok. A SUMMATION: If you need literally nothing more than a place to change your clothes and pass out, you're good here. Nice pool, comfy bed. I will never be back.

Nice stay I thought the hotel was very cute and a great location for business I needed to do in Brentwood area. I read the reviews so I expected the mandatory valet and also asked for a room on the “quiet side” Room decor was tasteful, bed was comfortable. Evening staff was very friendly, morning staff maybe not as friendly but not rude. Coffee in room was yuck with powdered milk so I tried to not so quickly grab some coffee at the hotel restaurant since coffee in lobby didn’t begin until 7am If I have to work in that area again, I would stay here again

4.26 mbps Internet speed ... Need I say more? A place where the customer is always wrong You are unwelcome here You might get stuck in the elevator, ring the alarm and … nobody does anything … Check in at your own risk ! Proper Internet connection to do business is essential: nowadays, bandwidth is a UTILITY not an AMENITY. After reporting 3 times a problem with the bandwidth, the director of guest services (JH) has the nerve to tell me to my face that it is the 1st time that he hears about the slow Internet speed - sigh His bad faith was exposed right there and then when another guest who was also at the front desk overhears the conversation and jumps in to complain how bad the Internet service is throughout the hotel. The team is unprofessional, unfriendly, not trained, totally overwhelmed. Customer satisfaction is not in their job description: “don't ask me anything, I just work here” attitude is what you get. Certainly not the level of service you might expect from a 4 star hotel, Not even close ! High turnover, bad management, this is not a happy place to work nor check in. Do yourself a service and stay somewhere else.

Never again, what a horror show This worn out hotel they call a luxury hotel is very far from it. The front desk was to just sum it up, unwelcoming. You know the refreshing fountain of water with lemons, and cups, well, they don't have that. Don't ask for water either.... They take a $400 deposit upon arrival, and kept our deposit and claimed a stain on the sheet. Here's their furniture in this $355 a night hotel suite, stained up, worn out, and outdated, my husband and I had to put a towel down just to sit! Their 24 hour room service is not true, and good luck calling room service, no one answers, EVER, i had to call down to the front desk, that has the number they actually answer, front desk calls me back to tell me to wait by the phone, they will call. I finally put my order in, after explaining what a carafe is, when i asked if the coffee is served in it, he said yes, then said i needed 2 cups with it. Expecting a cart, I get a knock at the door, and a man gives me "an uber bag" of food, and tiny paper cups of coffee, a breakfast burrito and eggs Benedict in a plastic container, plastic silverware, and a bill just over $90.00 (which honestly i wouldn't have questioned if this was served correctly) I spoke to one of the managers about this, his explanation started out...."because of covid".... they give people their food in a paper bag... I asked him how does that make sense, since I ate in their restaurant the night before, others were there eating, and we all had dishware. It was obvious it was out of nothing but pure laziness, and severe lack of any hospitality and justified with a poor excuse. This hotel will never see another dime from me, the following are photos of their worn out room, from carpet, curtains, severely stained and worn out furniture. This is in room #1402
