Biltomore Los Angeles 100th anniversary. The historic hotel opened in 1923 and is located opposite Pershing Square in Downtown Los Angeles. I stayed at the Biltmore Los Angeles for its 100th anniversary. Whenever I turned on the TV, I recognized the hotel from various shows and movies. I felt like a movie star while staying in the spacious suite. The hotel is very entertainment-friendly, and I appreciated the serene atmosphere—there was no noise to be heard. The powerful shower was incredibly relaxing. Additionally, the location offers easy access to restaurants and the freeway.

Historic elegance in DTLA We had a great long weekend at the Biltmore! The classic look and feel (especially with the Christmas decorations) were excellent. We were in town for a show at the Ahmanson Theatre and to visit family, and everything was convenient. The pricing was reasonable for the area and the level of service as well!

Elegance and Opulence with Comfort, all packaged together in this beautiful gem of a hotel! The elegance and opulence is magical, Biltmore should be part of the LA experience! We stayed there during our family holiday trip to California, for a 4N in LA. The comfort, the beauty, the elegance…. A hidden gem in the bustling busy LA downtown.

A hotel with a grand decor and rich history of popular culture! I stayed here for only 2 nights but I really liked it. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. The main hall/reception area was gorgeous and architecturally impressive. I liked the fact the corridors were decorated with various photos and pictures, indicating the various films and music videos for which the hotel had been used as a filming location. This included Taylor Swift and Ghostbusters! The breakfast service, although expensive, was relatively good. The Eggs Benedict and potato hash was particularly good. The sausages could have been a little better. The hotel also has a basement swimming pool, which was decent. However, most of the changing room lockers were broken so it was difficult finding one I could safely store my clothes and other possessions in.

Front desk guy with a bad attitude! Front desk guy was rude and arrogant! No guests were at the front desk and my wife went up to ask him if they had a concierge and the front desk guy replied “Stand behind the line please!” Then when we were checking out, instead of waiting for a long line of guests, I went up and just quickly asked the same front desk guy if there was somewhere I could just drop my key cards to the room off as I am just checking out! A simple yes or no would have done but he just said the “I will be with you in a couple of minutes! Again, a simple yes or no would have done. This front desk guy obviously hates his job and it’s showing through to the paying guests. I would highly recommend a different hotel in the area like the JW Marriott or the Ritz Carlton!
