Catalytic Converter Stolen Out of Their Garage This hotel offers long term parking for people flying out of LAX. I had the car parked in their garage for a week. Upon return, the catalytic converter had been stolen. The attitude of the staff was, "yup, that's been happening." Security said, "you can call the police, but they aren't going to do anything. Sorry, my friend." I now have to figure out how to get this situation resolved on a weekend. While waiting around to uber back home, I got to see the scene out in front of this hotel. Gang members milling about blasting hip hop from sports cars, different gang groups flashing signs at one another, prostitutes coming in and out of the hotel. There seemed to be cars pulling up, conversing with the gang members, then speeding off. I'm not sure if all of these people were guests or just locals using the hotel as a hangout. Security did not seem to care at all. I did see a rather terrified looking flight crew being escorted to a shuttle. Felt sorry for them. I did not stay at the hotel, but it must be horrible inside. Whole place felt sketchy and off.

Outdated. Not up to Westin Standards The hotel is outdated and is in need of some serious updating. I'm used to a lot better for a Westin. The elevators were old and dated. LA has a mandatory mask mandate in place, but lots of people weren't wearing masks. No one, including on site security requested masks to be worn. Regarding the rooms, the toilet has some real issues and the bathroom smelled like raw sewage. The only saving grace is the view. Has a nice view of the airport. Also the staff was friendly and nice.

Not up to Westin standards The pros are the room was spacious and clean and there was a Peloton there to greet me in the room. Being able to work out first thing in the morning was great. The bad news is clearly there is a homeless population staying at the hotel. I’m guessing it is similar to what NYC is doing right now with covid pandemic and helping out homeless shelters. If this is something that bothers you best not to stay here.

Good and Convenient This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel. It is super convenient with a 24-hour airport shuttle. The hotel itself is spacious and comfortable. The room was large and very comfortable with water and other amenities. I would stay again next time I need a hotel by LAX.

Dated, dingy hotel that does not come close to representing the Westin brand Aside from an upgrade, the experience at this hotel was disappointing. The hotel is extremely large, rooms have not been updated in 20 years. Toilet was not clean when we got to the room. Hot water ran out of the cold water faucet, rooms on Century Blvd are noisy all night long, carpet is dingy and damp feeling, food service almost non-existent. Shuttle runs too infrequently. The bright spot was the front desk staff and other workers in the hotel who were responsive and tried hard to make the stay better than the physical plant of this hotel which is really not close to Westin quality.
