Not a pleasant experience Breakfast experience was awful. When we got there they were out of eggs, sausage and oatmeal. Long line for waffle machines. Water dispenser was empty. No hand towels in our room. At breakfast we requested hand towels, and when we returned to room at 7:30 pm the room has been cleaned, but no hand towels or washcloths were left. Unsupervised children were in the lobby and breakfast area. There were UPS planes flying over at all hours ( not the hotel’s fault, but wish we would have known!) AC unit was loud. We have stayed in many Hampton Inns, and this was the worst experience!

Great hotel and location for price The hotel is clean and comfortable, and in an ideal location. Staff are friendly and helpful. After a long day on the road, it was especially great to meet Shelley, who gave us great service in the bar! She was so welcoming and started off our stay perfectly! ☺️

Stay somewhere else…. The hotel entrance and elevators were relatively clean and updated. Once in the hallway, the smell of deodorizing carpet cleaners is overwhelming. When I got into my room, I was very disappointed by how drab and dated the tiny space was. The bed appeared clean as did the shower and sink - not so much the toilet however :-( The walls in the bathroom were buckled from some sort of water damage and they were not clean. The through-the-wall air conditioner compressor made a terrible loud bang/clunk sound every time it cycled off (about every 10 minutes). The compressor cycle was so abrupt it would shake and rattle the entire window above it. Both lamp outlets I tried to use to charge my phone had electrical shorts so I just skipped charging. The bed was firm - too firm for my taste but some people love that type of mattress. Each time I left to go to dinner, to go to a show, and then later to get a few more things from my car, the number of homeless people wandering through and around the parking lot was unnerving. Between the mattress, the air conditioner clunking off and on all night and worrying about the safety of my vehicle, I hardly slept all night. Got up the next day wishing I had stayed somewhere else. I VERY RARELY write a negative review but this was a very bad decision to stay at this hotel. On a more positive note, the staff team members were ALL very professional, kind and helpful. I did not try the morning breakfast but at least they offer one for guests.

Dated Hotel, but the bar is OK Attending an event at the Exhibition Hall nearby. Good location. Parking was $15 per night. Breakfast was Ok and free. Bar was recently re-opened, and nice. Hall way carpeting on 6th floor was dirty, worn, and sticky. Room was OK. Very busy place .

Room was unclean and ill-equipped I was very disappointed in this hotel, as I found my accommodations unclean and ill-equipped. When I arrived, the bathroom only had conditioner and lotion and was not stocked with any shampoo or bath soap. Fortunately, when I made the front desk staff aware of this, they promptly delivered shower gel and shampoo to my room. I was ready to forgive that error, but then, later, when I pulled out an ottoman from below the table where it was stored, I discovered spilled peanuts and a dead bug on the floor. Gross! Had the room even been cleaned? However, by the time I discovered this, it was very late and I was too exhausted after having woken up at 4am for my flight to Louisville to bring yet another issue to the front desk's attention, and I decided that since I was only staying one night, I would just deal. After those 2 incidents I was in a foul mood and kept finding other disappointments: only one side of the bed had a USB outlet to charge my phone, and, unfortunately, that was the side with the spilled peanuts and dead bug on the floor. The windows lacked acoustic insulation so I was continually woken by sirens, loud motors, and a helicopter over the course of the night (there is a hospital nearby, so sirens were rather frequent). There was no clock in the room. The sleep timer button on the TV remote did not work. All this to say that this hotel fell EXCEEDINGLY far below the standards I expect of a Hampton Inn. I recommend that you seek alternative lodging for your stay in Louisville.
