Truly an island jem in every way ! As repeat guests we absolutely enjoy our visits. From the lemon aid and cookies to the well kept rooms and caring staff, this is the nicest accommodation with a great location. The porters meet you at the ferry and take luggage to the hotel room. We also bring our own bicycles for travel around the island. This visit we enjoyed perfect sunny days and mildly cool nights. So nice to open the windows and appreciate the air overlooking the water. It's always a pleasure in the evening when the last ferry leaves with day trippers.

Great Location! First stay on the island-now we can’t imagine staying anyplace else! Clean, quiet, comfortable, welcoming! Located at the edge of town-perfect location! It is not your average breakfast buffet, onsite pastry chef prepares the food each morning, along with the afternoon cookies as a treat. They have water to send you out for the day. The porter to and from the ferry and the room are incomparable. Yes, the steps are steep and narrow! We had a “lake view” room, but is was partially obstructed by another portion of the building, but seemed the same price as the other “lake view” rooms. The accommodations on the island are expensive. But overall a wonderful experience.

THE *Best* Place to Stay on the Island! From the moment we checked in, my family and I were treated just like that, family. Every single person working there is so friendly, helpful, and just lovely! Our room was absolutely stunning, with no detail left unattended. I’ve never stayed at a place with Frette robes and slippers (I felt like a princess!), the beds and in room amenities were such high quality, and the nightly turndown service with the yummiest chocolates was such a beautiful surprise at the end of long days exploring! Beyond the room, we enjoyed brunch on the patio that overlooked the lake (the views were equally as good as the meal), and grabbed a couple of delicious drinks at the bar, where the bartenders really knew how to make a martini! We’ve been to Mackinac before, but this was our first time staying here and I can’t wait to come back (although I might not leave the room if we do _)… thank you Hotel Iroquois!

Beautiful and charming. The Hotel is so charming. The gardens are beautiful! We had continental breakfast on the patio and inside the Carriage Dining Room. The room at the front desk and lounges has beautiful bouquets. Cookies and lemonade or cold water were a welcome sight on a hot day.

Perfect location for stay on Mackinac Island Hotel Iroquois is an excellent hotel for a stay on Mackinac Island. The rooms are well appointed. The staff is friendly and efficient and it is in walking distance of restaurants and attractions. The restaurant was not open when we were there but breakfast was served daily and it was very good. Luggage service from the ferry was fast and efficient. I would definitely stay there again.
