Had a wonderful stay on Mackinaw Island The hotel is in a great location. It is a quick walk to the shops on main street but is far enough away that it is quiet. The employees were very friendly and helpful. The guys at the bike rental hut were great. We ate breakfast at the 1852 Grill room each day. The breakfast was excellent. We also had lunch our final day at the Ice House BBQ. It was very good.

Great Hotel & Great Location My wife and I stayed here for short 2 night/3 day visit to Mackinac Island. It's a short & easy walk from the Ferry marinas and being on the waterfront, offers spectacular views of the harbor, the horse drawn carriages, bikers, and walkers. We had a King Room that faced the harbor and it was quite comfortable, roomy, and great bathroom. We did it at their Ice House BBQ for lunch (delicious), we did have a few cocktails from their bar (delicious), and enjoyed some downtime on the Veranda (again overlooking the harbor). Service is great, personnel were pleasant, firepits each night out front, and so fun staying in a hotel that's as old and famous as this one. Highly recommend staying here and you'll definitely need reservations.

Wonderful hotel with amazing views Beautiful, historic hotel with the best views. The rooms were lovely and large, both restaurants were beautiful, had excellent food and drink and great service. Rocking chairs on the porch and lawn, a beautiful lobby and great location all added up to a fabulous stay.

Historic beauty! We loved this hotel! The location was perfect, views were beautiful from front porch . Everyone was friendly, breakfast every morning was great! The room we chose was very small and didn’t have a great view, but others were better. Still we loved it!

Amazing hotel in almost everyway accept one thing that needs improvement Love everything about this hotel but make sure you make your reservation for the 1852 grille room at the front desk and not through the restaurant manager because he may tell you it’s booked when it’s actually far from it… for what reason I have no idea but it’s not professional in any way, other than that the hotel is absolutely amazing we have stayed 6 times and highly recommend
