Dirty bath towels Dirty bath towel… only noticed after using it. It looked like blood; hotel said it was just (?!!!) makeup. Disgusting. We’ve stayed here before without issues, but they are no longer up to Hampton standards. A partial discount isn’t a good solution.

Graduation Celebration This hotel was very clean and all staff was friendly and professional. Portia (night desk clerk) was wonderful. I had forgotten my razor and she found me one at midnight. Thank you Portia for your hard-work and kindness. Also we were able to do late checkout at 1pm. This was wonderful as the graduation ceremony wasn’t till 3:30. Thank you Hampton Inn for being our home away from home.

No Sleep I got very little sleep due to these factors: 1) room on 1st floor facing a very noisy road/parking lot 2) lamp outside extremely bright and pointed directly at our window 3) blackout curtains do not close all the way and are an inch or so too short allowing piercing light inside 4) beds are supposed to be queen sized, but doubt it. Very very small. Too small for two grown adults. We are normal sized people. 5) a/c is a wall unit under window which either blasts cold air or does nothing and is rattling. Not like central a/c. Breakfast bar was very good or this would’ve been a two star rating. We didn’t go to the pool but saw it—tiny and in parking lot surrounded by a fence. If you have kids under 5 they might enjoy it. Otherwise not a feature. This hotel is more like a motel in my estimation.

Terrible bed.. Stopped en route to a destination in Florida. While the hotel is very nice, the bed was terribly uncomfortable. So much so that I didn’t sleep well which made my next days journey quite sour. Both sides were sunken in. For nearly $200 for the nights stay it wasn’t worth it. I did reach out to the manager who will have maintenue check it out, but that doesn’t help me…

Nice front desk/housekeeping staff and comfy beds Very nice hotel just off I-475 beside a Cracker Barrel, several dining options nearby. Parking was ample. I was greeted warmly and given two free bottles of water for being a Hilton Rewards member. That was nice! Our room was clean and the beds very comfortable. Bathroom was also clean with plenty of towels. We slept like rocks, didn't hear any road noise and no noisy neighbors. When we were coming out of the elevator the next morning downstairs, the housekeeping staff was friendly and greeted us warmly. That was nice, too! I didn't eat breakfast but my husband really liked the banana bread waffles that you could make. We were only there for the evening as we had a tour of Mercer for our son the next day, but I'd stay there again. We saw many folks from other states (their license plates, that is) so it looks like many stop over on their way somewhere else. It's a good choice for that. The only reason I gave it four instead of five stars was because the TV table/shelving unit was definitely worn and needed some TLC.
