Bombed Out and Depleted - A True Nightmare I spent two hours in this hotel a year ago and it still haunts my nightmares. We booked this hotel for a school trip due to its proximity to the site of an athletic contest. Upon arrival, I immediately regretted the decision to subject not only my co-worker to this hotel but the two 15 year old girls we had with us. I literally feared for all of our lives. The rooms were beyond filthy, covered in a variety of bodily fluids, up to and including blood. The cast of characters roaming the halls of this place was an unholy mix of the Addams Family and a really rough episode of Breaking Bad. After panicking that I would lose my job, let alone my life if we stayed the night, it took a good 45 minutes to check out and cancel our remaining nights. The woman at the front desk refused to give me a receipt, claiming they didn't have a printer, until I pointed out that she had printed out an agreement for me to sign an hour earlier. It took two weeks to get a refund. It didn't matter, no amount of money would get me to stay another minute in this drug ridden hell hole.

Interesting older hotel. Large, super clean, modern room. Great breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. The photos of the outside do not do it justice. It is old, but very comfortable. Thanks for a real nice stay over. I would definitely stay here again.

Find someplace else If it’s over $50 to stay in the place it’s too much! Musty moldy smelling room the air conditioner doesn’t work well. Definitely would not stay with children of any age! The photos of the room is old or the owner or employee stay there I was there for work my new employer set me up in this place because it was the only place available there was a big conference in town and all the better places were booked they apologize to me for the location

You Get the Basics If you're looking for a base price with base amenities, then go ahead and make your reservation. The pros: pool was refreshing and clean, the room was clean as well. The shower had great water pressure. Good breakfast options. The cons: the mattress was horrible - soft and lumpy. No brewed decaf coffee, no complimentary conditioner or body lotion, the red and blue markers on the shower were backwards - not a big deal - you'll figure it out. Some, not all, of the other guests who live on the premises seemed a little shady. The cops were making their rounds frequently when we were there. The property is very isolated and sits next to a landfill, but we weren't downwind, so there was no smell. If you need someplace to lay your head for a few hours before you continue the next leg of your journey, then this might be for you. If you're looking to stay for a few days, I would look elsewhere.

Go anywhere else. We stayed here in November on our way to southern Illinois. We booked with their reservation site. The site gave us a king size bed even though we told them we had a 10 year old son with. We also had our dog with. He slept in his kennel in our car. We never brought him in. The people who were in the room above us came in late and you could here everything they said and did. The following morning the lady in charge berated me in the breakfast area in front of the other customers. She said I should have had a double room. I tried to explain that would have preferred one. She also berated me about our dog. I had to explain that he never came inside. I would recommend that you stay anywhere else but here. We paid 103$ for that one night. We will NEVER stay here again. They should be happy to have anyone staying here.
