Choose another Marriott property. The room was very outdated. Holes in the bathroom door. Patched walls. No full length mirror. Slowwwww flushing toilet. Small tub shower. Would expect more in NoVa. We always stay at Marriott properties and many times at a Courtyard. I will add we are frequent travelers. This property was, my far, in the poorest of condition.

The Hotel Dumpster Fire Perhaps not a shocker, but the website pictures of this hotel in no way reflect reality. To the contrary, this hotel is dirty and disgusting, inside and out. Trash in elevators and hallways (hint: you might want to clean them at least a few times a day). Furniture in rooms worn and dated. And please don’t get me started on the small balconies … I don’t think they’ve been cleaned in decades. Weather was beautiful during my stay but there was no chance I was sitting (or even standing) on the filthy balcony. Room wasn’t cleaned during stay … still taking advantage of pandemic policies to save a buck to the detriment of their guests. Noise from neighboring rooms easily filtered through the walls. But that’s ok because the unusually loud AC system helped to mask the neighbors conversations.

Good location Great location for a business trip or Civil War battlefield visit. Close to several great restaurants, large shopping strips nearby and almost walking distance to many battlefields. Pool area was perfect temp. Clean room!

Business Trip I was in Manassas on 11/21 for work. I chose to stay at the Courtyard because I had pleasant experiences at other Courtyard hotels. Well my experience at this Courtyard was poor to say the least. The first room I was assigned to had a dirty toilet. To my surprise, feces was on the toilet seat. In the second room I was assigned to, I experienced challenges with the sheets on the beds. The first bed had body hairs on the sheets. The other bed had yellow stains on the sheets and black specks on it. The duvet on one bed also had yellow stains on it. I do not understand how the housekeeping staff who supposedly cleaned this room thought it was acceptable to use the sheets and duvets. Despite housekeeping offering to change the sheets, I changed them myself for peace of mind. I checked out the refrigerator to find a hair strand in it. I cleaned the refrigerator out. I was thoroughly disappointed by this Courtyard. Ironically, I stayed at the Courtyard hotels in Virginia Beach (oceanfront) on 11/16-11/17 and Lynchburg on 11/22. Both of these hotels were clean. Regrettably, the housekeeping standard at this hotel is very poor. However, I will say the General Manager (GM) and his staff were very apologetic. They took the time to listen to my concerns. The GM stopped by my room to check on me. On a positive note, the bed I slept in was very comfortable. Due to the poor housekeeping standards, I doubt that I will return to this hotel.

Awesome Stay!!! The staff is very friendly and helpfull. Our room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable and the food was great. The hotel is close to several restaurants and the Metro. We will definatly stay here again.
