Super 8 by Wyndham Manassas

Pay a little more and go to another hotel. Wish I had. Needed to be close to Dulles for a morning flight and went with the cheapest I could find within 20 miles. (Should have factored in DC traffic since it was bumper-to-bumper at 6am!) The teenagers who were hanging out in the parking lot and sitting along the walkway to the rooms, glowering and smoking weed late into the night, did nothing for the ambiance of the place. In the room, most of the furniture has been painted (in a fruitless effort to update it?), and mattress needs replacing - it's actually lumpy and doesn't have much cushioning. The TV was hanging so crookedly that I had to prop up one end of it with the ice bucket tray. The bathroom was fine, except it's obvious that someone put their fist through the bathroom door as it has been repaired very carelessly. In the morning, the breakfast "buffet" featured dry cereal, one carafe of coffee, and the make it yourself waffle gizmo. No milk for cereal, no juice, no sugar, no fruit, and no pastries or bagels. Only powdered cream packets and Sweet & Low. That is not a breakfast buffet. The desk clerk (who is probably tired of people asking about milk and juice) was completely unapologetic. I don't recommend this place to anyone. I did not feel safe here, and that's rare for me.

Roach Motel This place is scary _. The motel dirty. Trash all over the place, roaches in the room I stayed in, no hot water, broken faucets in the shower, no toiletries (body soap, shampoo). This place is also unsafe. The room I stayed in was at the bottom of the stairs on the first floor and people from the upper floors congregated outside the window of my room at all hours of the night smoking, cussing, yelling, and peering through the cracks of the curtains in my room. The place is inhabited by people that are drunk and appear to be under the influence of drugs. They are in the parking lot yelling, working on cars, and basically carrying on in a bad way. I was actually worried for my safety. I want to warn anyone NOT to stay here for your own safety.

No hassle This hotel is the best choice for your money. Staff is accommodating and friendly. They are not nosey and they don't want trouble at their facility so as long as you don't cause trouble there won't be any trouble.

Roach Motel The Hotel is full of Roaches!!! Do not stay there !!! This place needs to be inspected by the Board of Health !! I cannot believe that you take peoples money and have them stay in Roach infested rooms!!!

Great Value We booked this room thru Priceline, using the Express feature where you select a category of Motel, but don't know which one you'll be at until after you've booked. First time doing this, and Very Pleased. Low price, and very nice place! Great location, very clean, microwave and large fridge (6 cubic foot, not tiny 2' one), soft bed, Very nice towels. Small pillows disappointing. Large TV. Didn't use Wi-Fi. This is one of the best values we've found, having traveled coast-to-coast. We paid $47. Even at the commonly available price of $60, would consider this a good deal. We've paid much more, for much worse rooms in the past. Count us as very satisfied customers.
