Excellent Old Hotel Very Nice Old Hotel with great service in the best location for walking to all that you want to see in Manitou Springs. It's nice to go visit a property that is not like every other hotel that you see and are accustomed to visiting. Since the hotel was built in 1874 you get the idea.

Grand elegance of the 20’s. 1920’s that is What a beautiful gem of a historic Hotel. A beautifully maintained building with the charm and personality of a Grand cattle Baroness . The rooms were comfortable with antique furnishings with the added benefits of lots of hot water in the shower and my personal favorite, the heated toilet seat. Valet parking helped with traffic congestion since most of our traveling was on foot to all of the shopping to be found near by. A wide variety of food was available near by as well but most of our meals were taken in the beautiful restaurant on sight. Down the hall was a well appointed room providing refreshing adult beverages. The exterior provide plenty of opportunities for relaxing or eating and drinks on the spacious veranda. The staff was exceptional and they all provided service with a smile. A free shuttle service was provided by the city to carry passengers up the valley to the Pikes Peak Cog rail way.

Terrific experience! Terrific experience! Rooms are wonderful. Will definitely return for a longer stay. Hotel is amazing and chock full of history. The suites are amazing. Buffet breakfast was very good. The outside gardens are impressive and seating area on front porch was perfect on a summer evening.

Our anniversary destination We visit every fall for a week. It's a short walk to the 33 bus and up to The Incline. We enjoy a smorgasbord of the celebrity suites. They strike a great balance of historic charm and service/maintenance. I love the consistency of the breakfast and the atmosphere of the dining room. It must be a great place to work because every year, I see many of the same people and that speaks well of any business.
