Three bad experiences in three weeks! I just wanted to write to you again and let you know that once more, even though I only made a complaint two weeks ago, I have since had the same bad experience with your front desk. I have stayed at your hotel since 2016 at least 2-3 times at year! This year has been 5 times! I have visited this week, last week and the week before and even though the two ladies on the front desk were the ones who checked me in previously they did not even recognise me or welcome me back! What on earth is happening to this hotel. This year is the first that I have had this experience every time I have come. I have never had it before! You clearly either need to fire or retrain your staff. It’s not acceptable for a customer that is loyal to you and that I don’t get the same in return. When I mentioned it to them both the response I got was: “we have been busy”. That’s just awful! The Head of the Front Desk is on long-term leave now. I think it’s time to look for a new home in Los Angeles!

Best Valets in Marina del Rey Ali and Abel were the most accommodating valets. After a late arrival, the warm welcome and attention to detail set us up for a great stay. Engaging, enthusiastic, and energetic service, these guys can’t be beat. You’ll be glad you stayed here if just for the valets!

Marina Del Rey LA Vacation Beautiful area around a lovely Marina and 15 mins from LAX. Easy access to Venice Beach and Santa Monica. 15-20 mins by car (Uber/Hire), to Manhattan Beach and Hermosa Beach. During the Autumn/Fall you need to be wary of the mist/cloud cover, lapping along the beach areas of LA. This usually clears by Midday but limits the temperatures during the morning. If you travel to all areas inland, including all the tourist spots of Hollywood, Beverley Hills, Rodeo Drive, The Getty Centre, Griffith Observatory, Echo Park, Universal, DTLA etc, the sun is usually blazing down from mid morning or earlier. This is literally 2-3 miles from the coast! But we would advise, not travelling during peak rush hour. We used Uber throughout and we believe it worked out better. The cost difference was negligible, but we saved on the trouble and hassle of finding various routes, avoiding the crazy traffic, avoiding tolls, stress of finding parking (and paying for it), paying for the fuel etc. It was so much easier on Uber/Lyft. Overall a lovely experience and I would not hesitate in recommending the Marina area as a base for your holiday/vacation.....but remember the mist during fall/autumn.

Great short stay at Marina Del Rey Nice hotel near the marina, warm pool and strong hot tub jets! Pool composition allowed the kids to open their eyes under the water without it stinging. Check in and check out was smooth and pleasant workers at the reception desk. Clean and spacious rooms. Front desk recommended a burger joint - Hiho, and the fam loved it. We went there twice during our stay. Couldn’t get enough of their Wgyuu burgers and shakes!

Disappointing We stayed 2 nights in a Deluxe King with Marina View. The hotel puts its best face forward in the public spaces, but our room was extremely small and did not look like the photos on the website. The room had a desk with a flimsy rolling desk chair and a comfortable chair with ottoman for one person to sit. There was a refrig and Keurig, but no plastic or glass drinkware, only plastic coffee cups. We got a glass of wine from the bar and kept it in the room and took some plastic glasses from the lemon water offered in the lobby. The balcony has 2 chairs with a small table. Our marina view had 2 palm trees blocking it, but we could look down and see the pool area clearly. The bathroom was the tiniest I've ever seen. The dirty wood floor space was the size of the bath mat. The shower and water pressure were good, but there was hardly room to move when you got out. This bathroom looked nothing like the photo of the toilet/shower in an enclosed room with the vanity outside of it. The kicker was the surprise $45 daily parking charge. The attendants were great, but the tips add up.
