Roomy suites; good experience First stay at this property, which I totally enjoyed. Came for a conference, called ahead and asked to extend the stay on both ends in same room. Was there for 6 days. They were very helpful. No outdoor noise in the room. Part of a sprawling property that includes an excellent gym, meeting rooms, dining and banquet halls, etc. All connected. Housekeeping was good (please, folks, tip the housekeeping staff! It helps you and them)and staff helpful. A small shopping center in walking distance with a drug store, supermarket, post office, etc. Lots of Asian dining spots nearby. Hotel has a nice breakfast buffet, too. Used to be an Embassy Suites, so rooms are big, 2-room suites with 2 TVs, fridge, coffeemaker, etc. Lots of room to spread out. As a shorter person, I greatly appreciated the shower head was adjustable for folks like me. It is not near the big Toronto attractions, so you will need to Uber or drive if you wish to go downtown. I used Uber. If I had to return to this area, I would certainly stay here. My experience was very good.

A 4 star not worth the price. Below average on the cleanliness of the room. We stayed on the ninth floor the weekend of Oct 4-6. I will start with the positive: plenty of staff and quick service. decently clean lobby area, quiet surroundings and well sound proof insulation ( rooms and windows). The hotel has large parking lot with a 10$ fee/day; don't forget to register your license plate at the front desk. Now, things that didn't impress us at all for a 4 star hotel: some carpets are worn out on the floors. Our room had a huge stain on the wall under the light switch in the bedroom. We found crumbs of Cheerios when we opened the sofa bed. Lights were extremely pale. TV sets and image quality was like 1996. Is that how we receive the guests in 2024? Not to mention that a dust spider-like web was displaying in one of the corners. We will not come back to this location. PS: I have to say that as soon as we reported to the front desk the issues found, the cleaning lady came quickly and fixed everything we showed her. She was very nice and professional.

Wonderful Stay We stayed in this hotel for 5 nights with our friends. We booked two rooms. Tonya checked us in. She is friendly and helpful, recognized my status and kindly assigned us on the top floor next to each other. She is very detailed oriented in all aspects. We had a very pleasant experience with her. We also enjoyed the executive lounge very much. The hotel is central in Markham with plenty parking. Room is clean and comfortable. Lobby has plenty seating area. It is not luxury, but it is well maintained, functional and comfortable. We really enjoyed this stay.

Good location and an enjoyable stay We stayed at the Hilton Markham during a family vacation and had a great stay. The hotel is in a good location, with stores/restaurants and the Unionville GO station within easy reach. The room was clean and well furnished. The hotel overall is looking tired and needs a refurbishment (especially the pool) but we had a great stay and I’d stay there again.

Marvelous in Markham! Amazing stay at this hotel. Check in was easy and straight forward. The room was spacious, clean, tidy, and comfortable. During the week it was well taken care of. Breakfast was fabulous and the staff took the time to get to know your name. Conference room was great and the lunch provided was outstanding. Would definitely stay here again.
