Completely Unsafe for Families Upon check-in, we found the toilet leaking from the tank and flooding the bathroom. We were given a new room where the bathroom light only worked intermittently (a short in the wiring?). In the evening the hotel was evacuated because the fire alarm went off (perhaps someone else had worse faulty wiring?). Still more concerning, there were no security locks on the building's side entrance doors which allowed a man to come into the pool area, watch our 9-12 yr old girls and boys. When he saw us notice him, he quickly snapped a picture of the children with his phone and left through the unsecured doors. THEN, the next night when the children went to use the pool, there was a 50 yr old couple having sex in the pool. There was a children's birthday party at the hotel as well as our own children who were attempting to use the pool with this couple bumping and grinding each other. The male was obviously lifting her up onto him and even took her from behind. When we complained to the front desk, the front desk clerk came, watched, and said they were not violating Clarion policy. What?? He merely confiscated the beer they had floating in the hot tub. Hotel in absolute disrepair and complete indifference by staff has made this hotel outrageously unsafe for families. Our stay could not have been worse. This company should be ashamed for the conditions they have allowed to exist here.

Clean and Comfortable but outdated We stayed here for 10 nights as we settled our daughter into College. The room, the first room was two queen sized beds, no fridge and no microwave. As we were staying longer they moved us after two nights into another room with a King sized bed, fridge and microwave. The room was comfortable but old looking very 70's. Breakfast. Supplied continental breakfast which was fine. Staff, polite and helpful. Overall we were comfortable, it's old and dated but the price was okay. Apparently it is being pulled down and rebuilt.

Stay Away What a dive! We learned after our stay that the hotel is set to be torn down later this year. They should have done it sooner. Filthy and in poor repair. There is a nice Holiday Inn Express just down the street - stay there instead, well worth a few extra dollars.

Old nasty and WAY overpriced! My regular room is $104 and I changed rooms 3 times and they were all the same. Very small, very old and dirty looking. If this wasn't on a company card I would have left. They told me that this hotel will soon be demolished and it couldn't come soon enough. The carpet is old, ripping and stained, the drop ceiling in the shower is just over 6 feet high. The thermostats on the wall do nothing and you can only turn a fan on or off that blows cool humid air through a filter that hasn't been changed in YEARS. Stay anywhere else. I stay in at least one hotel per week for about 6 years and this is in my top 3 worst hotel rooms. It is raining outside and there is a loud fan in the hallway drying the water that is coming up through the floor and carpet!

Where do I begin???? We only booked here because all area hotels were sold out, we got the last room in town! (For the Big Fireworks Program!!) The outside door lock was broken so anyone could enter the hotel; Our room smelled dank ; bathroom was tiny and reeked of pee (I tried scrubbing it but the smell was also permeated in the wallpaper!)Found toenail clippings under bed; the so-called hide-a-bed couch was a loveseat with a beat up flimsy mattress and a dirty blanket; The cushion on the loveseat had a huge burn in it (in our non-smoking room) and the couch smelled of smoke; the lamps were filthy, dirt was embedded in the base of the so-called business desk lamp and when I touched the shade a bunch od dust fell on the tabletop; the coffeemaker was hidden had to move it where it was usable; the carpet was dirty; peeling wallcoverings; fridge never did get cold; I killed a few gnats near the bed; cobweb in the corner I took care of; beds very old and uncomfortable; furniture is mismatched and beat up; The breakfast area was set up in such a small area you could not maneuver; hall carpets were filthy; it is funny, the reception area and pool area look nice, we paid 166 for 1 night with tax, feel ripped off. Front desk personnel were very friendly and I am sure are embarrassed by the rooms also. I felt sorry for them. To top it off, I asked for a clean blanket and when the housekeeper dropped it off there was a dead flea on it!!!! I will never stay at another Clarion Inn based on the condition of this one! I would be ashamed to put my name on this hell-hole! I heard it was newly purchased by Clarion; they should have shut down and remodeled before putting their name on it. We even had a power strip for electricity in our room. Isn't that against the fire code??Save your money, should have slept in the car lol.........to sum it up "Yuck!".
