Comfort Suites McKinney - Allen

Not returning We have continued to stay at certain comfort suites over the years but this one will not be one of them. Our first room had black mold in the closet and outdated microwave and refrigerator. I brought the mold to the attention to the manager and his suggestion was to spray bleach on it and let us stay.after I said no we were given another room. This room wasn’t the cleanest. Found a piece of pizza on the floor. A/C filters looked like they haven’t been cleaned in a while. Swimming pool needed skimming. You can tell they have tried updating it but more at a lick and a promise.

Three strikes you’re out ! We walked into our room and found a razor blade in the floor. Second, the a/c did not work well. Fortunately we had a very small fan that got us through the night. I will give them credit though. They replaced the entire a/ c unit. Kiddos to the maintenance man ! Three, we got in late Saturday night, and the elevator would not work! We are an older couple. My wife is on oxygen so climbing to the third floor wasn’t going to happen. I made two trips up and down an exteremly hot stairwell , got our luggage and left. Three strikes . You’re out! Will never stay again!

Overcharged and Unresponsive The place is comfortable enough, but I was charged for an extra night. I talked to the manager, Krish. At first he said the reservation was for two nights, but I sent him the original which showed one night only. Then he said I checked out too late (check-out time is 11:00 am). But I told him I was granted a late check-out by the front desk and I was gone by 11;30. He said he would "check with his staff and get back to me, if necessary", but now he is avoiding all of my calls and e-mails. He is obviously an unscrupulous business man. I would strongly advise folks not to stay at this facility.

Horrible Experience Upon checking into this hotel I quickly noticed how unclean the room appeared. The floors appeared to have not been vacuumed, large amounts of dust were on the furniture and room divider. The bathroom tub was so dirty you could see a water line on it, and the shower head was covered in dirt & grime. There was food left in the freezer section of the fridge which had melted and not been cleaned. Due to no other room availability I dealt with these conditions the first night. During the night the sheet shifted on the bed and upon waking up I could visibly see where housekeeping had placed a clean sheet over a soiled mattress cover. The stain appeared to be vomit. I demanded a new room immediately that morning and was told (only after sharing pictures) that a new room would be ready for me when I returned from my meetings. Upon my return that afternoon the new desk clerk wasn't aware of any agreement telling me the hotel was booked and I couldn't change rooms. I demanded a new room, and finally though reluctantly provided with new keys. The new room was much improved though still was quite dirty in the bathroom the bedding was at least clean. It's concerning that there was no level of shock to what I encountered and only irritation by my issues. I contacted hotel management providing a summary as well as pictures with no response. It's very telling this is common occurrence and quite normal for this hotel chain. I will never stay in a Comfort Suites again let alone this site.

Dirty Don’t stay here. There were German cockroaches in the room. The bathtub was yellow and greasy. In addition, there were long dark hairs on the tub walls. The sofa in the room was torn and shredded. There grab and go breakfast was all carbs and they claimed to worry about social distancing. The dining area was jammed with people. I think they are trying to save money by not serving a normal benefit. Traveler beware!
