Pricey but decent stay Stay was OK, the complimentary buffet was very basic but decent, and the toiletries in the bathroom were certainly a nice touch. But it was very overpriced compared to other hotels in the area. The location is convenient if visiting central mesa or the Mormon temple nearby.

Bleh at best The management sucks and the front desk is snobbish over a service dog they insisted on calling pet, and a deposit that was nowhere to be found on the pages to book or with the helpful. Booking agent that was asked about it. Then they canceled our room before we could return with the deposit. Generally sucked

Bad attitude and service When I arrived at the hotel the desk clerk did not even make eye contact. I unloaded my car with my child and passed the desk about three times. In the morning check out time is 11:00 a.m. I asked the front desk if I could stay till 12. They said no they needed the room. I asked if I could stay till 11:30 am. They said no they needed the room. When I made the reservation, they said I could check in at 2:00 p.m. When I arrived I was not able to check in until about 3:30 p.m. Not good attitude or service at this hotel. The azure in Mesa

Nice hotel with poor management This is a nice hotel with poor management. We stayed two nights so we could attend a wedding. We returned to the hotel around 11pm on our last night with plans for an early departure the next morning but our room key wouldn't work. After returning to the front desk 3 times for new keys we were told it may be a battery problem and that the night manager needed to come in to let us in and that she was 20 minutes away. After about 45 minutes we finally got into our room and it was another 20 until our door lock was recharged Our plans for an early departure were ruined. We politely asked the manager if we could get a reduction in our rate for this inconvenience and she told us that SHE was inconvenienced by having to drive in late at night and that only the owner could authorize a reduction in rate and she didn't want to inconvenience him with a late night phone call. After checking out the next morning and paying full rate we did a more thorough research of this hotel and found there is an extensive history of complaints with the management. In the future we will stick with brand name hotels with professional management.

Acceptable Hotel Needed a place to stay for two nights while visiting friends in Mesa, so we booked a king room in this hotel. We had a corner room on the first floor right by one of the exit doors, and it was huge/spacious. Actually, it was too huge, if there can be such a thing. The room could've used another arm chair because there was only one in it and plenty of space for two. It would've filled the room a bit more so that it didn't sound so hollow. The bed was comfortable, though. The room was clean and the bathroom plenty spacious, except that one of the trimmings where the floor and wall meet had come off behind the door and needed to be re-adhered. Other than that, the room was in good condition. The only thing which made our stay there less than satisfying was the noise level. Both nights there were noises which went past midnight. One cause was from other hotel guests who had children and were not controlling them. We could hear constant walking back and forth above us, as well as muffled voices. Another cause seemed to be work that was being done in one of the rooms??? We weren't sure about that, but that's what it sounded like. Unfortunately, though the flooring looked nice in the room (viny planks that simulated a wood look), it allowed for noise to travel throughout from all sides. Not sure if the rooms on the higher floor(s) had this same issue, but lesson learned (=try not to get rooms on the main floor of hotels).
