Ehhh We needed a place to stop for the night. We probably wouldn't look to come back for another stay. Everything is slightly dated. The AC was very dated and rattled so much, at times we thought it was going to fall out of the wall. This place did its job I guess. A quick one night stay was all we were looking for.

Quick trip The rooms are small and have dirty carpet, cigarette holds in the sheets, air conditioning barely kept room cool we kept it on 60 for the 3 days we were there husband finally decided to clean the inside filter and when he pulled it out it was black, after washing it out in the shower the a/c worked better. We saw LIVE roaches near the refrigerator in our room. Our kids were looking forward to playing in the pool yet the pool was closed our entire stay (in JULY) the pool looked clean and in working order so not sure why we weren't able to use it. Of the three Ice machines that we found on the property only one worked. We would have liked to use the washer and dryer. These are found outside near the soda machine and the washer had a out of order sign on it (my husband stayed at this hotel in January and said that the out of order sign was on the washer when he was there then too! Can't get it fixed for 6 months?) Don't try and sleep here cause it's impossible, people scream outside your room at all hours and you can hear people walking around on the floors above. I walked to the office to get clean towles daily (we don't like housekeepers in out room during our stay at hotels) the staff was pleasant and we did see security every night. If you have a pet - they have a tiny pet area that your pet is expected to use which is NASTY and covered in messes from people not cleaning up after their pets.

Perfect Location, Perfect Stay We traveled from Sioux Falls to New Orleans for a funeral and got to the hotel after 10pm. We were frustrated by airline and rental car issues and had been traveling for almost 12 hours. It was a relief to arrive at the hotel and find welcoming and efficient staff and a clean and comfortable room. The breakfast each morning was tasty and generous. Staff continued to go out of their way to anticipate and meet our needs. We were not in town long enough to need laundry services, but what a nice amenity for guests. We had to leave the hotel at 4am to make our flight home and again a staff member ordered us a taxi and reassured us that everything would be taken care of - and it was! Thank you for making a sad and stressful visit as pleasant as possible.

Manager Redeems My Faith in Hospitality Trade The night we arrived, we were exhausted and desperately in need of sleep. Who knew that my own home town would be so hard to navigate? The entrance to this hotel is entangled in a highway cloverleaf in busy suburban New Orleans. Good luck. But worse was pulling into a driveway the width of one car to find a LOCKED DOOR we had to tap on.... knock on.... BANG ON..... to get another guest to walk over and open. Then once at the front desk, we could see a security guard standing in a back office, but it wasn't his job to come out. He knew we were there after we called out, but he never completely turned around to address us. We called out again for assistance. No one came. Calling again, louder, we heard someone, a woman, barking from within. Again we stood waiting.... and waiting.... and waiting....... It was night manager Shontelle (sp). Our "welcome" went downhill from there, with her attitude being everything we predicted after that, including a belligerent response to our call from the room after we finally got a key. The 'queen size' bed was tiny, so we thought we must have been given the wrong room. [see photo] "You got a queen size bed," she bullied. "That's a queen size bed. It's a queen size bed," she repeated over and over again, interrupting each time I tried to explain that we use a queen bed at home, and there's no comparison. To make matters worse, stuff we accidentally left in the room has completely disappeared. I called immediately, went back in person, called again. All gone. No sign of it. But despite having lost costly personal items and been treated shabbily by an ornery 'hospitality professional,' I found Manager Amanda to be delightfully apologetic and absolutely Old School in her ability to assess the negative situation and promise to make it up to us. Remember when it was like that in the hospitality business? Maybe if working people were paid a living wage, they'd take more pride in their respective crafts. So I get it that people are not motivated. But this was pretty rough.

Not as good as other Radisson properties I'm a radisson rewards member, but I booked this room on hotwire. The lobby looks very nice and clean, but the rest of the hotel doesn't. You walk outside to the "courtyard" rooms and it smells like a dumpster. My room smelled musty and was not properly cleaned. Why is a coffee maker in a bathroom? There was coffee spilled on the drawers in the bathroom. Luckily I had my own clorox wipes to clean it. I heard noise all night and did not sleep well. There was no hot breakfast and very few choices. I've stayed at several Radisson properties and was very disappointed.
