Excellent location and nice rooms Great location. Friendly staff. We had a family reunion and reserved 3 rooms and stayed 4 nights. Rooms were spacious and we had a king bed and a pullout couch with a sliding door that split the room in half. That was nice because our teen would prefer to have her own space separate from the parents. The room had an umbrella which was useful for our stay. Attentive door men and helpful checkin desk.

Unpopular policy otherwise a nice hotel Extra charge for a kid to stay in a junior suite with the parents. Unbelievable and unheard of. They said the extra cost is because of the extras towels that have to be washed. Are you kidding me…really? I played around on booking.com. 2 adults vs 3 adults no price change same price for this hotel.

Great hotel at a fair price. Quietly nestled a block each way from the Ritz and the St Regis and a block and a half from the Four Seasons, THE Marquis Reforma Hotel & Spa (a member of The Leading Hotels of the World consortium) is an oasis in buzzing Mexico City at a fraction of its neighbors prices. It is a few minutes walk to Chapultepec Park and all of the museums, and exhibits located within it. The hotel has excellent customer service including the front desk staff, the concierge, housekeeping and the bellmen. My room was comfortable and well appointed. The bathroom was what one might expect from a 4 or 5 star hotel. My included buffet breakfast was of good quality and tasty. Ask the concierge to borrow free bicycles for a recommended early morning ride. The only negative comment that I have is that the hotel staff neglected to make its guests aware of the fact that there was a marathon near the hotel on New Years even which basically crippled any and all transportation near the hotel for quite some time. I almost missed a tour because of this. Please post next time so the guests are aware and can prepare plans accordingly. I will stay at this “Marquis gem”again. Recommended!
