Nice Place to Camp Out in Miami Beach Just back from a quick 2 night stay at the Albion Hotel. Location was ideal. Front desk staff were very nice and professional. Room was spacious and most comfortable. My ONLY negative was the inability to find an empty electric socket/plug to charge my computer and cell phone. Every outlet was taken and there were no spare outlets available. I literally had to remove two lamp connections to charge my equipment. Would definitely recommend The Albion and look forward ot a future stay there.

Bad experience I recently stayed at this hotel and, overall, it wasn’t bad. The rooms are a bit dated but manageable. The location is excellent, being close to the beach and the main street where you can find shops and restaurants. However, our experience was far from perfect. When we arrived at the hotel, it was pouring rain. We waited in the taxi for a few minutes but decided to start unloading our luggage to avoid additional taxi charges. As we were on our honeymoon, we had a lot of luggage. My husband went to ask for help, and the bellboy, instead of assisting him, waited patiently under the cover at the door while my husband unloaded five suitcases, a stroller, and two backpacks with our umbrella! When I entered, I told the bellboy that this was not acceptable service. Working in hotels myself, I know this is poor service. He could have helped my husband instead of watching him get drenched. His response was that the hotel didn’t have umbrellas, which I found absurd. During check-in, I expressed my disappointment to the receptionist, perhaps a bit sternly. Her response was even less cordial than mine, stating that if I had told her, she would have lent me an umbrella but that the hotel doesn’t have any. Out of courtesy, I won’t name the receptionist, but I believe the hotel needs to review their standards and ensure their employees can find better solutions and respond more kindly. I spoke with a manager, suggesting that having umbrellas could help guests. Honestly, I felt like my suggestion went in one ear and out the other. I definitely will NOT return to this hotel! We spent the first four days of our trip at another hotel on Ocean Drive, and they provided a high level of hospitality and care for their guests.

Albion Miami Beach team, the soul of the pleasure of a nice stay in Miami. Dear Giancarlo, Mark, Pablo and sorry for not recalling the name of all the previous team you at the Albion Hotel are. I was very well impressed about how you care of your guest even after they checked out. Albion is a brand of satisfaction. Tks

The difference between poor and terrible is due to the location. Be wary of the pool being under construction!!! Pool under construction with no warning on Agoda! I asked the hotel staff for some compensation (I asked for 2 free beach chairs as a small compensation) which they refused as apparently Agoda is a third party booking and they do not work with them, so it is not their fault that the pool being under construction was not advertised. I picked this hotel for $300 a night over a cheaper hotel with the same location as I wanted a pool for our 2 kids. The hotel is dated & quite dark - The kids wanted to have a bath but no plug to keep the water in. The walls are paper thin & the staff is not really friendly or helpful - Especially as I feel we are not Spanish speaking. I emailed them about a laundry location a few days before arriving and I never heard from them. Asking them questions and you just feel like you bother them. Besides the location which is perfect and the breakfast being cheap I do not have any positive things to say.

Great location for my short stay Perfectly located for my one night stopover in Miami. A two minute walk to the beach for an early morning dip which was fabulous. Located on the edge of Lincoln Mall for shopping and coffee. The room itself was big… with a sofa and desk. The bathroom is a tad small and dated but that didn’t worry me. Would be great if they updated their pillows… they were lumpy and uncomfortable. Besides that, it’s a great little place to stay and was perfectly priced.
