South Beach Plaza Hotel

GREAT STAY!!! Very clean room as well as a friendly staff (especially Michelle) she was very helpful and kind. It’s 1 block from ocean drive & the beach and next to several stores. Would definitely stay here again! Highly recommended!!

Very will upsetting experience Where do I start so My boyfriend and I when to check in I went through Priceline and the deposit was supposed to be 100.00 to hold the room it would be 86.26, The lady ran the card and said everything was okay. She gave us some ideas about where to eat and also told us about breakfast that will be provided in the morning. I will get to that. So she ran my card and said that it didn't go through the first time but I was like didn't make any sense since you ran my card give me the key told me what room we would be staying in. The amount that the hotel is going for you would expect to have a small fridge and also a microwave but no. The room we got didn't have a microwave or small fridge in it. The manager made it seem like I didn't pay for my stay but I did they charged my card a total of 13 times I called my bank and spoke to a rep and supervisor they said that the first time they ran the card was when the money was released to them but they ran 13 timesHopefully I receive my deposit of 100 back on my card. I honestly think that the hotel is not being honest with the advertisement of the hotel they include about the hotel with the kitchen maybe it draws in more people or adding a microwave and small fridge to the one bedroom make it comfortable.

Check In Check Out I am giving this place five star. Because the Customer Service Experience is 100% Great!!! The Elevator is not working. Rooms are very old. Hallway has a odor. Bed was okay. Needs a huge makeover! Thank You Staff for all your hard work! I SEE U.

Location, Location, Location The ideal Hotel if you're looking to stay somewhere near ocean drive. I guess a smoot renovation during the Covid pandemic would have helped. The rooms re somehow OK, bur the bath room definitively needs renovation. Toilet leaked, the safe was just on a chair, and the cleaning could be better, but again... if you're looking for party, then OK.

Stay Away The first time I stood at this hotel was in 1997. Let’s just say it’s not the same. Room 204 is located right across the elevator; room smelled like cigarettes, furniture was outdated, bathroom was cleaned but looked dirty. Only stood there for 1 night. It’s at a great location 14 Collins Avenue which is walking distance to bar, restaurants, beach and shops. Lobby is nice, nice bar didn’t get a chance to dine there. You get what you pay for _
