Overpriced and Scammers BEWARE!!! This hotel adds on fees to your room after you check out. My husband and I received our email with things listed on the receipt that we NEVER used or opened. Not only did they overcharge us but they even added a tip! In addition to this scam, the a/c in our room did not work. The a/c also rattled the ENTIRE time it was “on.” But not cooling the room off. The only upside to this hotel is the location. VERY DISAPPOINTED AND DISSATISFIED. I can only imagine how many other people are being scammed & overcharged.

Two stars at best The hotel indicates it is a 4 star hotel but it is 2 at best. It looks NOTHING like the pictures. Its almost as if they rented furniture to stage for pictures and then just brought in whatever they could find. We booked through our travel rewards and thought the price was maybe because they were a partner hotel. Wrong, its because of the shape of the hotel. It is so dark and dingy. The entire place is completely run down. The carpets in the halls and stairs are disgusting. The elevator is falling apart. Our room was small and we found multiple bugs in the bathroom. Our shower door didnt close, there was like a 2 inch gap. The fact that they charge you a $30 resort fee per day on top of your nightly rate should be a crime given the condition of the hotel. This was not a resort like or relaxing experience. If we were staying more than 2 nights we would have cancelled our booking and stayed somewhere else. The fire alarm went off two times during our stay. Once around 5am however shut off after 2 rings, but the it went off again for 15 minutes straight around 10am. I went down to the front desk to confirm if we needs to evacuate and was told it was a false alarm because they were fixing something in the kitchen. The least they could have done is communicated that they would be doing maintenance and that this could be an issue and not to worry, OR once it happened call the guests or go door to door to notify them that they dont need to do anything. Instead of just leaving everyone confused and wondering. The pros are that the bed is comfortable, its close to the beach, and the AC works good. Whatever the cost of this hotel, is too much. We would not stay here again and if there was a way to fight the charge with our bank I would.

No thrills hotel Good points- comfortable beds, huge shower room, food in restaurant is pretty good, free safe, free beach towels, close proximity to ocean drive. Bad points- Desperately need renovations, very dated, room very small, no balcony so no drying out towels or swimwear, toilet seat broken, everything metal had rust on it, they only take card payments for room tax and deposit, desk staff are extremely unwelcoming and came across rude, they obviously hate there job. WiFi awful in room. Basically this is a NO thrills hotel so if you want a bit of luxury don’t book here.

Relocated without information / charges for minibar although no consumption At the check in they told us, that they overbooked the hotel and that we have to go in a hotel at 20th street. They did not send us an information upfront. Arriving at the hotel at 20th street, they told us we have to go to another hotel. Nobody was informed and we had to pay an Uber. At the checkout they told us, that we consumed Fiji waters from the minibar (which was not true) and we had to pay USD 35 for it). We strongly advise not go in this hotel. Rather spend a few bucks more and you have good stay. The difference to a better hotel will not be that high especially since they will charge you with stuff from the mini bar (which you have not consumed).

Please Book elsewhere!! This hotel is for those who love a good side of the road in the middle of the country vibe. Hotel is old, outdated. The beds are laying on Sheetrock, which they probably are. The first night I slept in a bed with a hole deep enough to fit my whole body in.
