Horrendous Room smelled like smoke...floors were sticky ..told front desk nothing was done ..the ice machine was broken ..maid service came in made beds never changed to sheets..they charged a "resort" fee at the end for 700$ this IS NOT A RESORT they have a baby pool..nothing ur family can sit around ..or float in together..I talked to manger abt the resort fee nothing he could do? After all the issues with the room etc??? Never offered to switch rooms ruined our vacation..

Very accommodating staff Our room in the garden section of the hotel was clean and quiet. The hotel staff are accommodating, friendly, and well trained. We would stay here again when we return to Miami Beach. The location is excellent, a short walk to the beach and there are many restaurants close by.

Beware - check your credit card! The Hotel was fine, it looked like the photos. it was clean, all in all it did what it was supposed to do - BUT. When i got home I find that my credit card has been debited twice - without my authorisation, ive contacted Essex house and no reply.... Not cool guys, really not cool. is it too much for you to reply and confirm that you have refunded the money you took from me without asking?

Best Stay!!! Highly Recommend! Loved my time here! The room was perfect, you are steps away from the beach and tons of restaurants. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I highly recommend stating here! You also gain access to the Clevelander, the true South Beach experience!
