Maybe In May I have stayed at Lord Balfour over the years and have never been disappointed. I prefer the serenity of the south of 5th location with easy access to the beach and excitement just a few blocks away. They are renovating and all will be ready in May. Cant wait to see the upgrades. They have nicely appointed rooms and some suites up top in the "annex" if you wish to entertain. The staff was excellent on all levels! Always delightful to receive proactive customer service... isn't it?

Good Location, Nice Breakfast This is a nice hotel is a great location. Very walk able to all areas of South Beach with a friendly staff on had to assist if needed. The pool was great and there are two hot tubs available as well. They also offer a very nice breakfast that is included in the price.

Disappointed Disappointed and didn’t expect our amenities to be taken from us or to be moved from one hotel to another hotel next door. Also Salt the restaurant we ate at in August over charged us $30 for a Mihito this time and quoted different prices for our food from 2 different waiters. Restaurant lady’s bathroom was filthy when we went for breakfast and when we went back for dinner. Both times I informed the staff and they still did not clean bathroom or have soap to wash hands. My question then when did employees and cooks wash their hands?

Hotel isi n flux Hotel looked nothing like pictures. Secion was new and is being renovated. Older hotel is closed. disappointed accommodations ok. no parking only have $35 valet service which comes as a surprise. If park on street may get towed.

Not great Light comes in the room with the shades drawn and we could hear every step of the people above us. We ordered a $15 app with shrimp and calamari for a light snack. The waiter suggested a special they had going with the same food plus 2 types of chicken. He came back with a giant platter for at least 5-6 people and charged $75. Guess I should have asked the price but it’s pretty ridiculous to up-sale that much
