Business and Pleasure is their Business, and it’s a Pleasure Perfect place to attend an annual conference nearby while having some good down time. Have been coming here for over ten years and it’s only gotten better - boutique feel with the large benefits of Marriott. Staff is professional and attentive and courteous - whether it be Elizabeth who is extremely helpful at the front desk or Armani at the beach, making sure I’m set up and comfortable for a few minutes of peace away from work. Thanks Royal Palm, see you next year.

Thank you Pedro! The waiter Pedro was just lovely at breakfast! Super nice and always a smile! He made our day start off great! The breakfast was delicious too! Nice variety of food and fresh fruit. The oatmeal was fabulous and the pastries! Definitely worth it!

Horrible hotel This hotel is a complete embarrassment to the Marriott brand. The rooms are dirty, tired, and outdated. The customer service is abysmal. The only thing going for it is the location, but still not worth it. Do yourself a favor and stay anywhere in Miami Beach but here.

Nice Location but Frustrating for a Marriot Our trip was last week of January 2025. There's good and bad since our last visit two years ago. First, the good. by and large the people who work at this hotel are friendly and do a great job. The location is excellent. Right on the beach and next to the Loew's which hosts many events and convention. The Royal Palm has a good supply of nice bikes that you can borrow for free. This was an improvement over two years ago when there were only 4 bikes available, max, and getting one was hit or miss. There is a bike path right outside the hotel. Now, the issues. Biggest and most frustrating is that the hotel added several bogus mini bar charges to the bill (we never use a minibar) and despite a series of phone messages left and emails sent, they've totally ignored us. It's not a huge amount of money but enough for me to not drop $3,000 next January when I attend a conference I usually go to at the Loews. Frustrating that unlike most Marriots I stay in, you couldn't get your current bill up on the in room TV. Next, the room pricing is wonky. Our nightly room rate for a five day stay varied between $332 and $754 per night, so you have to pay attention. Next. we made the reservation through the Marriot app and my reservation clearly stated that breakfast was an included amenity. Unfortunately that never showed up in any email and the hotel refused to honor the deal (so we ate breakfast elsewhere). Recommend you save a screenshot of what app is telling you. Next, the property is old and run down. Again, location is great but its been a long time since I've been in a hotel room that didn't even have a proper table and work environment. The room we were in was tiny Next, the hallways are kept crazy, uncomfortably cold. That's just strange. Next on a couple of mornings I came to the lobby between 5:30 and 6:00 am and the lobby music was on BLAST mode so loudly that you couldn't hear yourself think. And the folks at the front desk were loudly talking over the music, which is not what guests are looking forward to before the sun is up. Great if someone would check out the bogus mini bar charges and at least get back to us. There are plenty of other properties along that part of Miami.
