Great Experience I had an unforgettable experience at the National Hotel, thanks to the exceptional service of pool manager Anthony Flores. His dedication, friendliness, and attention to guest satisfaction made my poolside experience truly special. I highly recommend Anthony and the National Hotel! Not only that but the quality of the hotel really gives it a plus to visit here in SoBe

Little bit disappointing Overall our stay has been OK, but there is a number of issues, which have not made our stay perfect. On our first day Netflix filming was going on and we could not the pool area. There has been no information about that on checking in the evening before, only the film crew told us, we could not pass. Next day construction works started at the pool area. When going to the beach, be aware that you have to pay for an umbrella. We think this should be included. The beach towels were the smallest we have ever seen, just covering half of the bed and you are sticking to the plastic of the bed. Not an issue, if you get 2 of them, but Sunday 10:30 am they told us, they are short of beach towels and we can only have one. (About 20 people were at the beach at that time!) Rooms are beautiful, but service is just average. Glasses have been taken away on the second day and have not been replaced, so are coffee tabs and cups. Ocean view room is a room overlooking a construction site. And there is only one elevator available, which is not working half of the time, which may be bothersome, if you have room on one of the upper floors. For a hotel in this category and compared to international standards we would have expected more.

Great property, poor experience We just stayed at the national hotel/resort last week. The resort was beautiful staff was great. Unfortunately our experience was greatly disappointing due to the closure of the beach and pool areas 3 of the 4 days we were there. We paid for umbrellas twice while at the beach only to be able to have them for 60 mins before being told the beach area was closed due to the filming of a tv show. Then were forced to walk all the way around to return to the resort barefoot because the gate was closed due to the filming as well. We were unable to access the beach one day due to the filming at the resort pool. We had to listen to a Loud leaf blower at 6 am after being woken up with contractor stacking tile in the units adjacent to us. These issues were brought up to the front desk staff numerous times while we were there without any attempt to rectify or make the situation less impactful. We traveled a great distance to enjoy your facilities only to be inconvenienced with the construction and filming on the property.

40th birthday vacation at National Everything was wonderful. Amazing pool, great food and super friendly staff. My first time in Miami, and I was fortunate that Netflix was filming a new show, and I had a chance to meet Jessie Usher aka A-Train from the show The Boys. Also, met J.R. Ramirez, who was so nice and friendly (also very handsome _). I would like to mention a pool manager, Anthony, who isn’t only a very hard working person, but he also cares a lot about the guests and everyone in general. He was so competent and knowledgeable. Thank you for all your help and advice. Definitely coming back!!!

Make sure they will not sabotage your vacation **Review of National Hotel Miami** Upon arrival, we were initially delighted with the National Hotel Miami. However, our enthusiasm quickly waned due to unforeseen disruptions. We were informed that a Netflix series was being filmed on the premises, resulting in limited access to the pool. Originally, we were told the inconvenience would last only a few hours, with the pool reopening at 11 AM. Unfortunately, this timeline was extended to 4 PM and then further prolonged to the next day. This meant we had no access to the pool and could not easily cross the property to reach the beach. Instead, we had to navigate around the block to reenter the hotel. This significant disruption turned our anticipated vacation paradise into a frustrating experience. Even when partial access to the pool was granted after 11 AM, there were only a handful of chairs available, insufficient for the guests present. Despite the staff's repeated apologies and assurances that the disruptions would only last a few days, our three-day stay was marred by these inconveniences. It became clear that the hotel prioritized catering to the Netflix actors over the comfort and satisfaction of their guests. Moreover, there was no prior notification about the filming when we booked our stay. This lack of transparency was disappointing and significantly affected our experience. Due to these issues, we left feeling unsatisfied and unsure if we would ever return. The hotel’s interest seemed more aligned with accommodating the needs of the filming crew rather than ensuring a pleasant stay for their guests. Signed, Unsatisfied Guest
