Just because it's an upscale hotel doesn't mean u get upscale service. Was looking so forward to our stay at Kimpton Epic in Miami. We stayed three nights. First off hotel is very nice but paying almost $70 a night to park your car. Our room wasn't cleaned the whole time we stayed. Even texted with people from hotel asking if we want room cleaned while we are at pool at noon. They said they would send them right up. Well we went to our room after 3 and the room hadn't been touched. Went to var by pool 2 nights because they have a happy hour. We sat at table fir probably 10 minutes while theirs 3 bartenders at bar. Only 2 people sitting at bar. I walk up to bar and stand their, nothing was said. We left. We told front desk about it. Second day we go back their and sit at bar. We ordered fish and chips and 2 drinks. We had 2 more drinks and sat their while bartender walked past our empty glasses multiple times. Finally my husband said he wanted a certain bourbon that was on the menu with coke. The bartender brings him a glass of wine. My husband said I ordered bourbon and coke. Bartender said we don't serve that bourbon. My husband said why's it on your menu? So we didn't get that drink and paid our bill. Oh by the way they already put the gratuity on the bill. So they don't care if they give good service because gratuity is already added in. We go downstairs to get our car standing next to another couple that was at bar. They were telling us they left because of service. They were going to eat dinner but left. They told us as we left var the bartender was bad mouthing us to other co workers and guest. So unprofessional. I work at a hotel and would never do that for guest to hear. We did finally get a $100 credit but I will never stay their again.

Great Epic Miami Experience for 25th Anniversary Our stay at the Kimpton EPIC Hotel for our 25th anniversary was truly unforgettable. The hotel’s prime location in the heart of Miami, near high-end hotels, restaurants, the Miami River, Bayside Marketplace, Kaseya Center, and Brickell City Centre, provided endless opportunities for exploration. Nestled beside the Miami River, the views of the beautiful yachts added a touch of elegance to our experience. The hotel property has a modern elegant feel to it. We were delighted to be assigned a corner suite on the 24th floor with breathtaking views of the river—a truly spectacular sight to wake up to every day. The room was very clean. The king bed was comfortable but i would opt for softer pillows. The bathtub inclided bathsalts and bubbles. Yay! The balcony views were phenomenal. Breakfast at the 16th-floor restaurant Area 31 was a daily highlight, with each dish being perfectly prepared and delicious. The pool area, with its stunning views and relaxing cabanas, provided a serene escape, though the bar drinks could use a bit of improvement. The staff’s thoughtful gesture of a congratularions card, complimentary bottle of champagne and macaroons made our celebration even more special. Every detail reflected their commitment to creating a memorable experience. My wife and I cherished the romantic atmosphere and are already looking forward to returning whenever we visit Miami. The Kimpton EPIC Hotel has set a high standard for exceptional service and hospitality. Go Epic in Miami!

Fantastic stay in Miami with even better service Jaetiel greeted us with a hug smile and he was going above ad beyond to make us feel welcomed and treated us like royalty. All the other hotel employees were amazing, attentive and kind. Thank you for making our stay even more enjoyable! We can’t wait to go back!

Valet Trauma Cured by Manager An update to my review of the Kimpton Epic on December 3 is required as I was just contacted by the Manger of Valet services, Mr. Oscar Cabrera, who extended his apologies and will be waiving the valet charges for my stay. This is how customer service is supposed to work and my sincere thanks to Mr. Cabrera for his professionalism. I will be changing my rating to a Five star.
